Tier III Instructional Resources | Tier III is intensive instruction provided in addition to Tier I instruction and supports students who demonstrate documented ongoing difficulties (e.g., lack of sufficient progress). It is intensive support using evidence-based, scientifically researched strategies and instructional materials for very small groups of students or individual students who are not making adequate progress despite access to high-quality Tier I instruction and targeted Tier II instruction, both implemented with fidelity. For additional ELA, mathematics, and science resources, per District Regulation 6150, site-funded supplemental textbooks/materials will be selected through a systematic review process by the professional staff in each school.

Supplemental Instructional Materials | Supplemental instructional materials for academic learning address gaps in standards alignment within the Tier I instructional materials. In Kindergarten–Grade 8, Amplify Science is fully aligned with the NVACS for Science. It includes differentiation supports, strategies, and steps for Tier II interventions within the teacher guide for each unit. Therefore, no supplemental academic resources are needed or recommended. Supplemental instructional resources in this document may help extend academic, social, emotional, and behavioral learning. The District or state has purchased these and does not require the submission of a CCF-386 at the site level. For additional ELA, mathematics, and science resources, per District Regulation 6150, site-funded supplemental textbooks/materials will be selected through a systematic review process by the professional staff in each school.
