Award-winning director with experience producing film, television and theatre seeks to network with creative and business people to collaborate on new and existing projects.

Career highlights include being chosen out of 12,000 filmmakers by Steven Spielberg to compete on the TV show ON THE LOT on FOX; directing 18 short films receiving multiple distribution deals and awards; and producing/directing the feature film SEE WHAT I'M SAYING: THE DEAF ENTERTAINERS DOCUMENTARY which screened theatrically in over 179 cities, received dozens of awards and rave reviews including Critics' Pick in the New York Times.

Julie Young, Producer, Emblematic Group

Julie Young is a Producer at Emblematic Group, a virtual reality company based in Los Angeles. She has worked on several room-scale VR experiences including Project Syria (Sundance 2015), Kiya (Sundance 2016), Across the Line (Sundance 2016), and Formula-1 (Singapore Grand Prix 2015). She also co-founded SH//FT, a nonprofit that promotes diversity in the VR and AR industries. Prior to working in VR, Julie was an Associate Producer on the 2012 Frontline documentary Fast Times at West Philly High. She has also worked at Goldman Sachs and The Motley Fool. Julie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied economics at The Wharton School.

Lima Mora, Technology Developer and Cinematic Virtual Reality Innovation Specialist

Lima Mora is a Technology Developer and Cinematic Virtual Reality Innovation Specialist with a focus on Educational Content and Concept Development as well as 360 Solutions and Mixed Reality. Founder of The Last Star Rehabilitation Technology partnered with The Mayors GRYD Program in Los Angeles’ District 77.

 Mora’s Virtual Reality background is a dynamic mix of education and entertainment where she’s worked with the world’s top brands for VR public awareness and add campaigns. Her most current venture includes filming, directing and creating high quality stereoscopic 360 sports-action content with the on a Sports Education VR Platform set to launch in the Fall of 2016.

Celine Tricart, Lucid Dreams Productions

Celine Tricart is a VR filmmaker and founder of Lucid Dreams Productions, a production company specializing in new technologies and the future of storytelling. Her first VR film, “Marriage Equality” was shot in July 2015 using the Nokia Ozo VR camera. Since then, Celine has worked on many live action 360 projects as a director and is now producing her first game engine-based VR experience.

Annie Lukowski, Vanishing Point Media

Annie Lukowski is the co-founder of Vanishing Point Media a virtual reality production company where she brings her passion for storytelling to cinematic VR filmmaking.  Annie has created content for new media platforms and silver screen alike – from co-founding branded entertainment company Working Bug Media, to her successful work in the advertising space (with brands like Jeep, teenVogue & USA Network) to her acclaimed short films and work as an independent feature film producer. Vanishing Point is engaged in exciting work in narrative and commercial VR alike with collaborative work showing at the TriBeca Film Fest and clients like Banana Republic and Stan Lee’s POW.


Evette Vargas CEO, VR Story Storyteller, Digital Reign Production

Evette Vargas was named by the NY Times as an “Artist to Watch,” Evette is an award-winning writer, director, multiplatform & Virtual Reality creator. Evette’s work includes series for MTV, Bravo, DirectTV; branded ent. for FAST & FURIOUS, LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy and Madonna. Evette EPed, wrote and directed her digital series DARK PROPHET, starring Henry Rollins, nominated for two Emmys and premiered at Sundance. The VR series premiers on the Sony Playstation VR. Born in the Bronx, Evette learned to tell stories at the dinner table with her Puerto Rican family where the imagination ruled. Evette collects action figures & typewriters; has past lives as a DJ, fashion designer; and is a recovering NY Advertising Art Director.

graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College.

After careers as a “nightlife” columnist, speechwriter, and public relations flunky, Coté earned her MFA in screenwriting thanks to a generous Michener Grant from The University of Texas at Austin. She worked for Richard Linklater’s Detour Films before moving to Los Angeles. Coté has written and produced several short films, and her screenplays have earned recognition from Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, Slamdance, Austin Film Festival, and more. She is a member Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, and her fiction has won several prizes including an award funded by the MacArthur Foundation. In addition, her short story “Busted” earned her a spot in the prestigious Prague Program for Writers.

Jessica Kantor

Director-Producer, Benenson Productions, Wondros, ExpectVR

Jessica Kantor is an LA based director, producer and interactive storyteller creating films and interactive marketing for Benenson Productions, Kluge Interactive, Wondros, ExpectVR amongst others. Jessica recently directed and produced a short VR film called THE ARCHER which was programmed in the Kaleidoscope VR Film Festival, Cucalorus Film Festival and the Liege Webfest. THE ARCHER is currently available to view on VRideo.com. In addition Jessica is directing VR content for brands including a VR FlashMob for RallyBound, amongst others.

Most recently, Jessica’s second VR film ASHES premiered  at Tribeca Film Festival 2016 and she's preparing to film a VR dramedy series  this Summer.

Finally, Jessica is a mentor for the Oculus VR for Good program where she's helping Bay Area high school students learn 360 Video.
