- Welcome/Introductions (Giles)
- PTO meets once monthly, at 9am 0n the 2nd Thursday of the month. Chairpeople need to attend!
- DPC Update: First Meeting 9/18 4PM @ Liberty School
- DPC= District Parent Council
- Any board member is welcome to attend these meetings

- Will need teacher rep for 24-25 school year; KG will reach out at back to school meeting 8/21
- Volunteer Coordinator updates (Reynolds)

- If you are running an event, coordinate with Katie to create

- Do not need to be a parent to volunteer, but must bring ID!
- VP Fundraising (Ellenburg)
- Teachers encourage students to run at least one lap; they do not track laps
- Schoolfundr is the new platform
- Old platform was expensive - this one doesn’t keep any money
- Many high school programs use this
- Teachers will get a letter to send to parents with directions
- No family pages, but easier for donors
- They do ask for tips; this is how they make money
- PTO provides Outshine popsicles
- Usually on sale this time of year at Sam’s (Katie and Gina both have memberships)
- Busch’s & Kroger
- Raise Right
- Really push this this year

- Kelly O did audit a couple weeks ago
- Scholastic needs to be paid
- Busch’s check to deposit

New Business
- Open House
- Picture Day 9/5
- With WM
- Food trucks available, yard games, Just Dance in Heritage gym, Bingo in WM gym
- No food in buildings
- Trash bins and tables already arranged for
- This is a volunteer heavy event
- At Colemans
- Cost is $10 / families pay through Rev Track
- Volunteers needed
- Dinner not available this year
- This will be shared on Facebook
- $149 for a family of 4
- Monetary Allocations: teachers given $100, new teachers given $200, pay for transportation for all field trips, $5000 for 5th grade camp, 4th and 5th grade assemblies, 5th grade celebration

- Ask parents to donate drinks, snacks, desserts

- Canceled last year due to weather
- 5k with WM
- Needs a chair!
- Not a fundraiser
- March Combo event: Pancake supper & Literacy Night in Cafeteria / March is Reading Month Book Fair in Media Center
- No pancakes this year: We need another idea! Pizza? Use local businesses
- Staff appreciation week May 5-9: Biggest thing we need help with this year!
- Eats a big portion of our budget
- A lot of work
- Gym teachers plan this
- We provide popsicles for this
- Remember to buy Outshine Popsicles at Sams while they are on sale - Katie can
- When you buy things for PTO, ask for the debit card. This is easier than reimbursement

- Monetary donations from food trucks
- Watch scheduling of things like literacy night to avoid multiple events per day for families with children at more than one school.
