05.30PM | Preparation and briefing, Breakfast will be served in Warung nearby the Guest House in Kedindi, then Drive in 15 Minutes to Pancasila Base Camp. On motorbike for another 30 Minutes to the Jungle Gate. and walk up for 3,5 hours to POS 1. Resting time in POS 1, another 2 Hours proceed to POS 2. (rest time for Lunch, Coffee and Tea), Trek to POS III in another 2,5 hours. (Overnight in Tent at POS 3). Arrive in Pos 3. Dinner will be served in Pos III | |||
Day 3 | 12.00AM 06.00AM | Walk up to Pos 1V at 01:00am Trek to Pos IV needs 1,5 hours. Then continue to Pos V in another 2 hours. Summit attact to 2.851Mdpl from Pos V in 3,5 hours Arrive in Tambora’s Giant Caldera, it needs another 30 minutes to be on the peak of Tambora at 2.851Mdpl. | ||

Time can be earlier or late in every estimate time we provide
REMARK :
- Each person accompanied by a porter, due to the hiking trail on Mount Tambora is different than the other mountains, which passes through the wilderness, so the porter had to use a backpack to carry all the equipment and logistical needs.
- Summit attact on Mount Tambora should begin early in the day, to avoid the heavy fog which blanketed the peak area that usually appears around the mountain in the morning after sunrise (at about 9Am-12 Pm).
