AREA

Formula

P= 2 (L + B) mm,cm,m

A = L x B/W

(sq mm,sq cm,sq m)

Maths book

P= 2( 25 + 21)cm

25+21=42x2=92cm

P = 92 cm

A=(25x21) sq cm

25x21=525

A =525 sq cm

Modelling book

P=2(39+31)cm

39+31=70x2=140

P=140 cm

A=(39x31) sq cm

39x31=1209

A=1209 sq cm

Large Rectangular Table

P=2(121+80)cm

121+80=201x2=402

P=402 cm

A=(121x80) sq cm

121x80=9680

A=9680 sq cm

Tote tray

P=2(50+15)cm

15+50=65x2=130

P=130 cm

A=(50x15) sq cm

50x15=750

A=750  sq cm

My Reflection

I am learning to find the area and perimeter of an object. It can be tricky to find the correct measurements. My teacher can help me with my work along with my mum and dad. The next step for me is to find the volume of an object.
