Final Paper Format Guide

Final Papers are DUE Friday, November 21st

Your paper must clearly address each of the items listed below.  

Please see the Rubric Handout on our class website if you have any questions.

Formatting

Font:   Times New Roman, 12pt.

Spacing: Double Spaced

Headers: Other than at start of paper, NO HEADERS above paragraphs...Just type the paper.  Indent your paragraphs with no extra spaces between paragraphs.

First Page: No Title Page. Just add the header below to the top of the first page of your paper.

Example First Page Header

Name: Mr. Sapopo

Period: 1

Class: Biology A

Work Cited: Move your Work Cited section to a new page of your paper at the bottom, making it the last-page of your paper.  Do this lastly after you have finished all your edits and are ready to hit print.

Turning In

Print one-sided and staple.  

Turn into me a PRINTED COPY on Friday, November 21st.

Final Presentation

Your final presentation will be given by your group on the day of finals.  

Each group member must present and discuss a particular part of their paper during the presentation.  

This will be graded as a regular course assignment.

*Your score is a collective of the group effort and performance...so shine for others in your group.

Your paper should cover the main body topics outlined in the Paper Rubric:

Use the Bio_Cancer_Presentation Template I have posted online as your guide in developing your presentation.  You can always add more slides, but this template follows the outline of your papers.  

*You only need one presentation per group!  

Directions for using the template:

  1. Login to your google account.
  2. Open the template from my website or by clicking the link here.
  3. Click FILE, then MAKE A COPY.
  4. Click on the name of the presentation in the top left of your screen on where it says Bio_Cancer_Presetnation_Template to rename it.
  5. Rename the file Bio_Cancer_Presentation_your last name_your first name.
  6. Click on SHARE.  The blue box in the top right of your screen.
  7. Enter my email:  saporas@tillamook.k12.or.us
  8. Share your document with the others in your group as well.  This way you all can edit this presentation together over the weekend!!!
