Facebook’s Mobile Navigation

Facebook is either A/B testing the hell out of their mobile app navigation or using an algorithm (based on people’s behaviors, regions, strategic/promotional considerations, machine learning models?) to create personalized navigation menus for its two billion users. To learn more, please share your Facebook mobile navigation here and any useful notes (device, operating system, country/region what features you use, etc.). In order to catalog unique navigation solutions, this doc is sorted by unique navigation variants.

Update: due to an aggressive vandal, I had to turn off public editing. If you have another variant not listed below, please reply to my tweet here. Thanks~

I used to have the rocket and the events icon, never touched rocket, but did use events. I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on the 2nd icon (because I have no idea where it will take me to be honest). I think I checked out the marketplace once. (iPhone 6S+, iOS11, fb v144.0)
