The Sherwood School District’s facilities are available for rent to community members.  Rental spaces include gyms, community rooms, media centers and school commons/cafeteria areas.  Facilities may be reserved through Cheryl Templeton at ctempleton@sherwood.k12.or.us or 503-825-5922.

The facilities use fee that is charged covers custodial supplies, utilities, and any repairs associated with use that are needed to insure the SSD facilities are kept safe and updated for our renters.

Priority use is given to school programs, school sponsored athletic/activity groups and school support organizations within the SSD.

Procedure for Renting Facilities

  1. Contact the SSD Support Services Department at the email or phone number listed above.  Please provide the preferred facility area, date and duration of use when making availability and cost inquiries. (Facilities fees are posted on this web page.)
  2. Complete a Facility Use Agreement and submit to the SSD Support Services Department via email to Cheryl Templeton, fax to 503-825-5901 or mail to 20250 SW Cipole Rd, Tualatin, OR  97062.  The Facility Use Agreement is available online.
  3. The District requires a Certificate of Liability for anyone using District property.  The general liability insurance must not be less than one million ($1,000,000) per occurrence.  The Sherwood School District must be named as Certificate Holder.  Higher limits may be required depending on the event.  Failure to submit a Certificate of Liability at least 10 business days prior to an event may invalidate the Facility Use Agreement.
  4. After the Facility Use Agreement is received by the SSD Support Services Department the use will be booked and confirmed with the renter.
