Community Liaisons Consultant

The Diocese of Fall River Catholic Education Center is seeking 3 part-time Community Liaisons Consultants (CLC) to work with our schools in Cape Cod, Fall River, and New Bedford. Each CLC will work within their community to increase awareness of our schools and build relationships with strategic partners who can invite more students to attend our schools. A preference will be given to Spanish and/or Portuguese bilingual candidates who are already involved in our communities.

The Diocese of Fall River is looking for substitute teachers to work at both the elementary and secondary level in all curriculum areas. Per diem and long-term substitute positions are available throughout the academic year.

 

Applicants must be flexible with their schedule and should have the following qualifications:

Position: World Language Department Chairperson

The Department Chairperson works closely with the Vice Principal of Academics in the area of curriculum development   and instructional supervision, and serves as the primary liaison between the administration and the department.  An important responsibility of the Department Chairperson is to model effective instructional and classroom management practices for the members of the department while serving as a catalyst for continuous individual and department growth and improvement. The position of department chairperson is an administrative appointment and holds an ex-officio seat on the Academic Board. The Department Chairperson reports directly to and is evaluated by the Vice Principal of Academics. The Department Chairperson is expected to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents.
