THE IMPERIAL ARTS LEAGUE

97 JERMYN STREET

LONDON – S.W.1

8th April 1931

Dear Sir,

I have the pleasure to enclose receipt for your generous donation of Three Pounds to the Maintenance Fund of the Imperial Arts League, for which I desire to express the thanks of my Council.

Yours faithfully,

Arthur D. Rendall

Secretary I. A. L.

[Note appended by hand]

I must not let this official thanks go, without adding my appreciation of the Vice-Presidential letters, you wrote us from abroad, and evincing real interest in the League’s work.

Our long lease here expires in June. We have taken smaller offices, but I hope conveniently situated, in Bedford St. Covent Garden.

I hope you will have time to glance through our Annual Report, which is I think evidence that the Maintenance of the League’s work is essential to the Profession, & that our small income is efficiently administered.

With kind regards, | from sincerely

Arthur D. Rendall
