- 2015 Speedo Sectionals at Indianapolis - Schroeder swimmers wrapped up a very successful long course Speedo Sectional Championship in Indianapolis Sunday night. The Schroeder women’s team finished fourth. SSTY swimmers set 2 WI State records and 11 Schroeder Team records. See info below. Congrats to all!!
- Spring Session: Regular programs start back up on 4/13. Clinics will run and the WSAC pool will be open until we resume regular programming.
5. Schroeder’s Denis Lazaj to compete in Albania:
Schroeder’s Denis Lazaj is heading to Albania this week to
compete in the Albanian National Swimming Championships
this weekend. Denis and his family moved from Albania 3 years
ago and began swimming for Schroeder South last spring. Due to
Denis’s Albanian citizenship, he is eligible to compete and
attempt to qualify for the Albanian National Team.

Schroeder Conference
1. Spring Session Begins The Week of 4/13/15:
Baseball has their “Opening Day” and we have our first day of swimming practice for some swimmers on Monday, April 13th. Check the practice schedule for your “Swimming Opening Day!” In the meantime, the coaches hope you’re enjoying your break!
2.Conference Meets Set For Spring Session:
Parents, mark your calendar for Thursday’s in May for our next round of the Schroeder Conference Program. Remember that your swimmer may or may not be on a different team for the upcoming session:
5/7 = Red vs. White Team
5/14 = Blue vs. White Team
5/21 = Red vs. Blue Team
5/28 = Conference Championship Meet
Schroeder South
1. 2015 Speedo Sectionals at Indianapolis:
Thirteen of our elite swimmers competed at the 2015 Long Course Speedo Sectional Championship at Indiana University Natatorium - Indianapolis March 26 - 29th.
Our Schroeder swimmers had a very successful meet. Our women’s team finished 4th behind SwimMAC Carolina, North Baltimore (Maryland) and Waves Bloomington/Normal Y (Illinois). Over 120 teams from across the country competed in the meet.
Schroeder swimmers set 2 Wisconsin State Records and 11 Team Records at the meet. Kaylyn Schoof established 11 & 12 WI records in the 200 Free and 200 back. Kaylyn re-wrote the team’s 11 & 12 team records with six new marks (50, 100, 200 Free, 50 & 200 Back, 400 IM). Mason Schoof added four 13 & 14 team records in the 50, 200, 400 & 800 Free events. Katie Hayes contributed the final 13 & 14 team record in the 100 Breaststroke .
Congratulations to all on a job well done!!

3. A Few Practices This Week:
SR1 and J1 have practice Thursday 4/1 and Saturday 4/4.
There have been some recent changes made for S1 & J1. Please make sure you review the schedule.
Please make sure you’re checking the schedule on a daily basis.
If practice is cancelled due to weather or other circumstance, the schedule will be updated immediately, and an email will be sent to each family.
4. Have a Good Holiday Weekend and Spring Break -

The next swimming session (Spring Session 2015) will begin the week of April 13th and finish for the swimmers either June 5th or June 6th - 7th, depending on your child’s age. Our 8 & Under Swimmers will complete their session with the always exciting Elmbrook All-American 8 & Under Meet on 6/5, while our 9 & Overs will compete at a meet in Menomonee Falls that first weekend of June.
The Summer Session begins Monday, June 8th, and culminates with the Second Annual Schroeder Trophy Meet on August 8th for our 14 & Under swimmers. So plan your summer vacations for August 9th until school begins :)!
