Looking for the file CLAW.SF2
Setting things up on desktop mode:
- Download Claw 1.4.4.4
- On dolphin (the linux version of a finder) go to home- create folder “Games” and within that folder “Claw” so the set up should be /home/deck/Games/Claw
- In the claw folder drag in “CLAW.FEC” (the cut scenes) and the “CLAW.SF2” (the midi music file)
- Open steam-> add a game -> add a Non-steam Game -> Browse -> /home/deck/Games/Claw -> File type: all files-> and select CLAW.EXE
- Go to manage properties and Select Compatibility Check the box Force the use of a specific steam play compatibility tool and select proton experimental
- Make your game pretty by adding steam images to cover art all that jazz

- Open qsynth and click set up -> Soundfonts ->open ->CLAW.SF2 (your midi file) then close it.
- Click the steam deck logo in the bottom left hand corner go into applications ->multimedia -> find qsynth ->right click it and add to steam
- Make Qsynth pretty by adding steam images to cover art all that jazz

- Go to gaming mode, find Qsynth in non steam tab open it and run the claw file i lower my gain to about 30-50 if left at 100 it will be overwhelmingly loud, then click steam button -> Library -> Go to non steam tab find Claw and run it (remember it should be using proton experimental or latest proton you can get inProtonUp-Qt)
- Everything should work, cutscenes, music game play all thats left is mapping out the buttons which i plan on releasing a steam mapping layout for. From what I notice it runs very smooth! Some caveats 1. It does not run in desktop mode, tried it and its starts but then quickly closes. 2. Runs well saves well sounds well, when you arer done playing the programs kinda crash and you need to run a restart. For me this is well worth it, its claw portable and it runs and behaves just how you would want it too, at the cost of a restart at the end of gameplay. OH and you can dock it :) looks great on TV. The built in FSR still works on the game and with some tweaking looks super good!
