IB Summer Courses (ISC) (Palo Alto, California, USA) - Grade 9-11 / DP Year 1 and Year 2
A small, specialized company offering personalized DP summer programs for students, based at Stanford University, California. Mid-DP review courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Economics, History, and English. Pre-DP courses in English, Science, TOK, Economics, and Math are also offered. Finally, besides a new program for Grades 9-11, enrichment courses are offered in Art, Music, Public Speaking, and Sports.

International Baccalaureate Wise DP Revision Program (Vienna, Austria) - DP Prep Year 1 and Year 2
IBWISE is an independent company in Vienna, designed to provide extra assistance to DP Diploma students. They employ only experienced DP subject specialists to teach their courses. Program dates are in July to August for pre and mid DP students.
Oxford Courses DP (Boston, USA; Oxford, Cambridge, UK: Tuscany, Italy) - DP Prep Year 1 and Year 2
The OSC covers the core, DP subjects and provides an excellent foundation for the IB program. They are run in Oxford, Boston and Tuscany. The Mid-DP Summer School is for students who have completed the first year of their DP studies and want to review and consolidate what they have learned, fill in any gaps and make a confident start to their final year of the DP. While with the program there are opportunities to visit some of the world’s most successful universities in the region (Cambridge, Harvard, etc.).
Lanterna Europe & America DP revision courses (Sweden/UK) - DP Prep Year 1 and Year 2
Located in convenient locations around the world, Lantern offers first-class support in DP preparation. They have been running since 2004 with highly qualified instructors. Lantern provides everything from summer and mid-year programs to online private tutoring support.

St. Clare’s Oxford IB Summer Institute (Oxford, UK) - English and DP Prep Year 1 and Year 2
The IB Institute at St. Clare's draws on the College's extensive expertise and resources to provide introduction, review and extension courses for students following the DP course (both Pre & Mid-DP studies). They provide English proficiency courses with IB/DP preparation support for students age 10 to 18+.
Deep: Da Vinci Engineering Enrichment Program (Toronto, Ontario) - Grades 3-12
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Toronto provides Grade 3-8 & 9-12 the opportunity for study in a variety of disciplines. Participants can gain knowledge in a specific topic while gaining laboratory and research experience in university facilities and have the opportunity to interact with engineering graduate students and professors. Optional residence is available. Deep is located on the St. George Campus, downtown Toronto.
DNA Forensics Summer Camp @ Trent University (Peterborough, Ontario) - Grades 2-10
Learn what it really takes to process a crime scene, analyze evidence. Use DNA technology to solve crime and develop your own DNA profile plus experience campus life at a University. In an interactive, individualized environment, students learn about DNA technology, forensic science and related social issues.

Faculty of Law Youth Summer Program- University of Toronto (Toronto, Ontario) - Grades 10-12
High school students (grades 10-12) around the world learn at one of Canada’s most prestigious law schools - the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. Students spend between one and six weeks at the Faculty of Law discussing advanced legal concepts, learning about the reality of the Canadian legal system, and applying their knowledge in a variety of environments.
International Summer Experiential Education - Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario) - Grades 8-12
SEEQ is a non-credit enrichment program where students (equivalent to grades 8-12 in Canada) will study interrelated, academic courses during their time at Queen’s. Courses are instructed by graduate students and professionals using state of the art university facilities.
Lakefield College School Summer programs (Lakefield, Ontario) - Grades KG-12
The beautiful Lakefield College is on 315 acres beside Lake Katchewanooka, a 90-minute drive to Toronto. It provides five summer camps run by third-party providers during July and August.

Lakefield Music Program (Ontario, Canada) - Grades 8-12
The Lakefield Music Program will consist of a merger of jazz and classical programs operating during August. This is better suited for older high school students, though young learners are welcome if musically inclined.
Leahy Music Camp (Ontario, Canada) - Grades 3-12
The Leahy Music Camp has gained a reputation for being a major source of inspiration and instruction for people of all ages and ability. The Camp focuses on fiddle, piano, step-dancing, singing, and guitar, but also offers instruction in other areas like bass, drums, mandolin, accordion, audio engineering, songwriting, composing, and more. Camp features include a recording studio, access to a professional sound engineer, a "Music Room" to explore music, and a "Jam Room" where participants can play music with others.
Learning Enrichment Advancement Program: McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario) - Grades 1-12
LEAP is a non-profit Engineering summer program run by McMaster University, whose main goal is to introduce high school students to the exciting world of engineering, science and technology through hands on experiments and projects. The sessions are designed to challenge students by introducing them to research in emerging technologies – including Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Bioengineering. There is also a female only outreach program and Venture Camps for Grades 1-8.

The Pearson Seminar on Youth Leadership (Victoria, British Columbia) - Grades 10-12
Students in Grades 10-12 apply for a leadership development experience. They will explore issues affecting the world today; learn tools to help build healthy, sustainable, and equitable communities; and practice those critical skills needed to be a leader. Sessions are offered in July to August.
Ryerson University Recreation Summer Youth Programs (Toronto, Ontario) - Grades KG-10
Ryerson University offers a wide variety of day camps for sports, exploration and leadership, including basketball development camp, leadership training, architecture camp and Eureka science discovery programs.
Ryerson University Summer Theater Academy (Toronto, Ontario) - Grades KG-12
The Ryerson Theatre School Summer Day Camp provides an exciting and stimulating theatre environment right in the heart of Toronto. The programs offer unique and creative experiences for ages 4 to adult. Participants will use their imaginations, explore the world of live performance and expand their creative potential.

Seminar on the United Nations and International Affairs (SUNIA) (Edmonton, Alberta) - Grades 10-12
A weeklong educational program for those interested in the fields of international relations, international development, the United Nations, and Canadian Foreign Policy. The program takes place in August among the Rocky Mountains, Alberta.
Upper Canada College Summer Academy (Toronto, Ontario) - Grades KG-11
UCC Summer Day Camps provide outstanding summer camps for children aged 4 to 16. The camps strive to offer young people exciting learning opportunities in a variety of disciplines, including sports, leadership and technology. They concentrate on participation, cooperation and fun.
University of Calgary Summer Camps (Calgary, Alberta) - Grades KG-12
Each camper will have their own unique experience and gain something different from participating in selected activities and health programs. Campers will develop fundamental movement skills, and make new friends. They will make new discoveries, develop self-esteem and have a greater opportunity to explore their creative side.

American Overnight Dance Camp for Dancers (for GIRLS) - Grades 3-11
The American Overnight Dance Camp for girls is offered during the summer for girls ages 8 to 17. Styles include Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and Lyrical, with Musical Theatre options available.
Barnard College Summer in New York (New York, New York) - Grades 11-12 (Pre-college)
Students from around the globe come to New York City to pursue their passions in a rigorous, academic setting. With six distinct programs to choose from, ranging from entrepreneurship to dance, you have the opportunity to explore areas of interest on a deeper level through both in-class discussions and city exploration. As part of the learning experience at Barnard, you will get a taste of both college life and the Big Apple!
Berklee College of Music Summer Programs (Boston, Massachusetts) - Grades 8-12
Spend your summer making music with students from all over the world who share your passion. Education Unlimited provides academic summer camps & pre-college summer programs for students entering grades KG-12. Brown Pre-College Program (Providence, Rhode Island) - Grades 7-12
Experience college, prepare for academic success, and make new friends from around the world in Brown Pre-College programs. Throughout the summer Brown offers multiple sessions 1-7 weeks in length, and more than 300 courses to choose from – on campus, online, and abroad.
Canada / US Math Camp (hosted by University of Puget Sound - Tacoma, Washington) - Grades 8-12
This is a camp for mathematically talented secondary school students from around the world. Increase math skills July/August while studying with proven mathematicians and enjoying all the fun elements of a camp.
Carnegie Mellon: Summer of Exploration (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) - Grades 11-12
A 6-week program for high school students aged 16 + who are interested in studying Architecture, Art, Design, Game Academy, Drama or Music. Students aren’t only experiencing a real classroom and complete Carnegie Mellon coursework, they also get a glimpse of what it takes to interact with professors, classmates and a roommate at a level they may have not yet encountered. Sessions take place in July and August.
Choate Rosemary Hall Summer (Wallingford, Connecticut) - Grades KG-11
Choate Rosemary Hall is one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the United States. They offer an International Summer Program for academically motivated high school and middle school students. Programs of include: Oceanographic Institute; Theater Arts; Math, Science and Writing Workshops; Documentary Filmmaking; Summer School Abroad in China, France, Oman and Spain. They also offer KG-7 exploratory programs in Art and Athletics.
Columbia University Summer Program (New York, USA Barcelona, Spain) - Grades 9-12

Cosmos Soccer Summer Academy (New York) - Grades 3-12
The Cosmos Soccer Academy is designed for young people with a passion for soccer who want to hone their skills with other like-minded athletes under the direction of world-class coaches. Cost includes all food and accommodation, assessment and feedback, a chance to get scouted by NCAA reps, fitness and nutrition workshops, video analysis, and fun evening activities.
Duke University Honor Institute for Middle School Students - Grades 6-8
Designed for students from around the world who wish to excel academically and accelerate their learning over the summer, the Honors Institute for Middle School Students is a 3-week, non-credit-bearing program. This international and elite program challenges young students to explore advanced topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) within a supportive academic and residential environment.
Duke University Academy for High School Students - Grades 9-12
Summer Academy for High School Students, a three-week, non-credit-bearing program offered by Duke University, attracts students who represent the next generation of global citizens from around the world. Enroll in this elite program and immerse yourself in an international experience designed to provide an academic and residential environment through which you will gain a global perspective on multiple areas of interest for young leaders.
EXPLO Exploration Summer Programs (Connecticut, Massachusetts) - Grades 2-12
Explore academic, artistic, and athletic interests and choose from more than 100 courses that emphasize student choice and promote independent thinking, good decision-making, and a lifelong love of learning. The program also caters to younger groups who wish to explore and enrich learning.
Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) Marine Environmental Systems (Melbourne, Florida) - Grades 5-12
This is for residential or day program for students. Their mission is to integrate oceanography, ocean engineering, environmental science, marine science, meteorology and related academic concentrations into interdisciplinary knowledge-based optimal solutions to vital contemporary issues through education, research and service. The institute caters to young groups who are interested in the environment.
Georgetown University: Programs for High School Students (Washington, DC) - Grades 10-12
Experience college life at one of America’s oldest campuses! It offers a variety of summer courses, learning alongside college students. They accept applications from rising sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school who are in good academic standing. There are additional requirements with must be met.
George Washington University Pre-college Program (Washington, DC) - Grades 11-12
Summer Immersion is a full-day, rigorous, noncredit program for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors. Participants enroll in 2-week programs that integrate lectures with guest speakers, experiential and applied activities. Students expand and deepen their knowledge of a topic through collaborative learning and an exploration of the diverse intellectual and cultural resources of Washington, D.C.

Hotchkiss Summer Portals (Lakeville, Connecticut) - Grades 10-12
Immerse yourself: We offer sequence DNA, deliver a speech, build a robot, perform on stage, conduct experiments, or canoe to an overnight campsite. In addition to classes, you will be eating in the dining hall, playing soccer on the turf, swimming in the lake, and sleeping in the dorms. It will be an experience remembered.
Illinois Aerospace Institute (IAI) Summer Camp (Urbana, Illinois) - Grades 9-12
The Illinois Aerospace Institute summer camp is a residential program for students entering grades 9-12 who are interested in learning about the fields of aerospace engineering and aviation. Many have experience in aviation, but no experience is necessary; just an interest in learning about the field of aerospace engineering. The Institute is held on the campus of the University of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign.

Johns Hopkins Summer University (Baltimore, Maryland) - Grades 10-11
Johns Hopkins Summer University is a way to try bachelor level programs before applying to college. Participants can take undergraduate-level classes alongside university students and earn university credit with a wide range of credit courses offered. Students must be at least 16 years old and achieved a 3.0 grade point.

Michigan Tech Youth Programs (Houghton, Michigan) - Grades 6-12
Our programs aren't ordinary, and neither are our students. They build robots, rappel down cliffs, perform chemical diagnostics, fly airplanes, and make movies. They come from across the country and around the world to learn engineering, film production, molten metal casting, and more.

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) - Grades 11-12
With MSOE’s Summer Programs, students will be able to determine if engineering, nursing or business is a good fit for them as well as what is important to them in their college search. MSOE offers week-long, residential, academic camps for students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior year and are interested in exploring degrees in Engineering, Nursing or Business.
Museum of Fine Arts High School Summer Studio Art Program (Boston, Massachusetts) - Grades 11-12
The School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) in Boston offers a rigorous five-week program in partnership with Tufts University that focuses on painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and media art (video, digital photography, and sound), as well as public art, community, collaboration, and performance.
New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts: Film + Theater + TV (New York, New York) - Grades 10-12
The Summer Acting Training Program offers a rigorous, but exhilarating four-week program that offers a challenging opportunity to explore acting techniques, camera performance skills, commercial basics, film and TV basics, improvisation and more, with a dedicated, professional faculty of working actors and directors. Students can earn six transferable college credits once successfully completing the 4-week program. A minimum age of 16.
Phillips Andover Academy Summer School (Andover, Massachusetts) - Grades 8-12

Phillips Exeter Academy Summer School (Exeter, New Hampshire) - Grades 7-12
The Phillips Exeter Academy is a co-educational residential school serving students that has a tradition of academic excellence. Every summer, Exeter welcomes to campus some 700 students for five weeks of academic study, athletics, and exploration that carry participants far beyond the classrooms and the playing fields.
Savannah College of Art and Design Summer Programs (Savannah/Atlanta, Georgia) - Grades 9-12
Savannah College is offering summer programs in art and design for high school students at their two campuses in Savannah and Atlanta. This 5-week residential program will challenge students to build and enhance their arts’ portfolios. Students who completed Grade 9 - 12 may enroll in SCAD Summer Seminars.

Smith Science and Engineering Program for Young Women (Northampton, Massachusetts) - Grades 9-12
The Smith Summer Science and Engineering Program (SSEP) is a four-week hands on residential enrichment program for exceptional young women in Grades 9-12 with strong interests in science, engineering and medicine. Smith College is among the top-rated liberal arts colleges in the United States and one of the nation's largest colleges dedicated solely to the education of women.
Stanford University Summer Institute (Stanford, California) - Grades 8-12
The Summer Institutes offer a three-week residential program for academically talented and motivated high school students. Students engage in intensive study in a single course and are introduced to topics not typically presented at the high school level. The Summer Institutes provide a taste of college life in the beautiful surroundings of the Stanford campus.

Stratton Summit for American College Placement (Vermont, USA) - Grades 11-12
The Stratton Summit for American College Placement (SSACP) is an innovative summer program for American-college bound international students. In conjunction with Stratton Mountain School, SSACP is offering a two week residential program that exposes international students to New England’s elite colleges and universities. The program combines rigorous test preparation, essay writing, mock interviews, and immersive contextual English with private campus tours and admissions interviews.
Summer Discovery - UCLA (various campuses) - Grades 11-12
Summer Discovery offers summer high school, pre-college and study abroad programs in multiple locations where participants can earn college credit, make incredible friends, have excellent experiences. Programs take place at the Anderson School of Management, Digital Marketing and Social Media Institute, the Business of Media, Entertainment and Sports Institute, the Global Leadership and Social Change Institute, University of Chicago and UCLA in California to name a few.

University of Pennsylvania Summer VETS program (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) - Grades 11-12
The Veterinary Exploration Through Science (VETS) program at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School offers an exciting experience held during two sessions that have been designed for high school students (11th and 12th graders). The program will provide students with an understanding of the challenges and rewards of this profession and the opportunity to interact with other students who have a similar passions.

African Leadership Academy Global Scholars Program (South Africa) - Grades 10-12
African Leadership Academy’s Global Scholars Program (GSP) is a nineteen-day, intensive immersion experience in 2 sessions in July and August. African Leadership Academy seeks dynamic, motivated high school students, ages 15-19, from around the world—North America, South America, Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Africa—who are thrilled at the prospect of an intense program in which they will develop as global leaders, build lasting friendships, engage in deep study of the African continent, and contribute value to a social venture that will have a lasting impact on a community in need.
Art History Abroad (Italy) - Grades 11-12
The best way to see the art of Italy! Travel between Venice, Florence and Rome. The 2 to 4 week course places the art, architecture and sculpture of Italy within the broader context of western civilization. Students get a true taste of Italian lifestyle.
Australian Cultural Study Tours - Nature Based Learning - Grades 6-12
Intercultural understanding encourages students to make connections between their own worlds and the worlds of others, to build on shared interests and commonalities, and to negotiate or mediate difference. It develops students’ abilities to communicate and empathise with others and to analyse intercultural experiences critically. It offers opportunities for them to consider their own beliefs and attitudes in a new light, and so gain insight into themselves and others.
Ayla Aviation Academy Summer Camp (Aqaba, Jordan) - 17 Years of Age and Above
Ayla Aviation Academy is a private aviation educational company that trains students to be become pilots. Their Aviation Summer Camp is designed to introduce participants to the world of aviation through lectures, experiments, flights over Aqaba, as well as time in the flight simulators. Participants also get involved in game building, sports, and sightseeing activities in Jordan during their stay.
FC Barcelona Soccer (Barcelona, Spain) - Grades 1-12
Based in New York with programs worldwide and part of ASA SummerFuel’s summer programs.
FC Barcelona is dedicated to offering student athletes unprecedented access to elite residential sports camps. ASA SummerFuel partners with select organizations and offer access to some of the best training in the world. For the Barcelona camp, they welcome boys, aged 13-18. Camps are located in Boston, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Marbella, Spain, London, England or at FC Barcelona’s official training ground at Ciutat Esportiva in Barcelona, Spain.

London International Youth Science Forum (LYSN) - Grades 11-12
LIYSF is a two week residential event held at Imperial College London, with lectures and demonstrations from leading scientists, visits to industrial sites, research centers, scientific institutes and organizations, including world class laboratories and universities. Join the group of LIYSF students that will have the chance to discover the excitement of fundamental research at CERN in Geneva. CERN, is one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research, with over 2500 scientists researching fundamental physics.

Education Unlimited (EU) A+ Summer Pre-College (Palo Alto, California) - Grades 9-12
A+ Summer High School challenges rising 9th and 10th grade students with high-level academic activities that develop the skills needed for high school success and achievement. Over the course of seven days, students will attend classes in advanced argumentative writing, critical reading, and logic/problem solving. Students will also receive seminars and lectures covering study skills and strategies such as time management, note taking and course planning. Students who hold at least a 3.0 GPA and have demonstrated responsible conduct and academic motivation in school are eligible for A+ High School.

East Coast College Tour allows students to visit and experience life at several prominent East Coast Colleges. Rustic Pathways offers travel programs for students, families, groups and college students. Summer programs are available for students aged 12 +. Great Books: Summer Program (UK) - Grades 6-12
The Great Books Summer Program is an experience like no other in American education. For a number of years, GBSP has gathered exceptional middle and high school students from across the world to read, discuss and debate selections from the greatest works of literature, experience college-level discussions and seminars, and enjoy summer fun with other literary-minded students. We offer summer camps at the University of Oxford, Amherst College, Stanford University and Trinity College, Dublin.
Oxford Learning Reading Camp Grades / Beyond Tutor Program (Ontario, Canada) Grades PreK-8
The Summer Reading Camp at Oxford Learning encourages both creativity and academic excellence. PHONICS: The Best Way To Learn To Read For Little Readers (Ages 3 to 6), the Oxford Learning Summer Reading Camp uses rhyme, games, puzzles, computer and drills, to help your child learn to blend sounds into words. Once children master the skills of decoding by phonics, they’re off into a world of books. Ingrained in the Oxford Learning Summer Reading Camp is an approach that also teaches your child more efficient ways to think and learn for life-long education success. Programs and Camps - Literacy Center Program (New Jersey, US) - Grades K-12
The Literacy Center Program is designed to determine children's strengths and weaknesses in literacy as well as to provide instruction in reading and writing strategies. This program is primarily for those children who are struggling with literacy skills.
School Literacy and Culture - Rice University (Houston, Texas, US) Grades KG-12
Creative Writing Camp offers a supportive learning environment for children to engage in writing stories, poetry, essays and plays, as well as simply writing for pleasure. Through these workshops even the most hesitant child discovers the joy in writing, the intrigue of language and the confidence of authorship. With a small teacher-student ratio, Students receive 40 hours of high-quality classroom instruction over two weeks with real authors and professional teachers, a printed publication or portfolio of student’s best writing, a classroom reading or performance, and a Creative Writing Camp t-shirt. Workshops end with a final performance and/or reading. Each participant will take home a personal portfolio or an anthology of camp participant writings on the last day of camp.

Attending the June-August summer camps in North America or Europe is a common activity for many families.
There are multiple types of summer camps, including residential (sleepover) camps, day camps, specialized activity camps for sports, language immersion, and academic enrichment camps. Many college and university campuses will host camps in summer using their facilities/resources and as an outreach to the wider community when most college students are not in class.
Summer camp provides a child with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests. For older high school students, many summer camps (both day and residential camps) offer leadership and counselor in training programs that provide excellent hands-on leadership experience that is sometimes hard to come by in the Kingdom.
NOTE REGARDING CAMPING ACCREDITATION: National (Canadian and American) state and provincial camping associations adhere to the highest standards of safety, supervision and quality programming as mandated by their association’s standards for operating a summer camp.
