I have given myself to Jesus.”
-Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha
A reminder that Friday, June 10th is a PD Day. The teachers will be engaging in professional development through planning and collaboration and there will be no classes that day. The school will be open only for those in the childcare program.
Track and Field Day
The Junior students (Grades 4-6) will be participating in our Track and Field Day on Monday, June 13th. The Junior students will be participating in a variety of running and field events and are reminded to wear proper footwear and clothing for participation in these events. The students should also bring water bottles to ensure they are hydrated throughout the day.
School BBQ Volunteers
The St. Stephen School Council BBQ will be taking place on Thursday, June 16th and the Council is looking for parent volunteers to help out in a variety of roles to help make the BBQ a success.
If you are interested in helping out, please follow the link below to sign up for a job at your preferred time.
BBQ Food and Drink Orders
The families of our school community are encouraged to return the food and drink order forms for the School Council BBQ by Thursday, June 9th. The forms were sent home last week. No money needs to be sent in at this time, as the forms are being used as a guideline for how much food needs to be ordered for the event.
Raffle Tickets and Money
Mr. Skinner’s office is currently overflowing with incredibly filled baskets from each Grade for the raffle at the School Council BBQ. The generosity of the community is much appreciated. If you would like a chance to win one of these wonderful baskets, please return your completed raffle tickets and money to the school by Wednesday, June 15th. Best of luck to everyone that buys raffle tickets!
Gospel Values Assembly
We will be holding our final Gospel Values Assembly of the year on Friday, June 17th at 10:05am. Students in each class will be recognized for showing excellence, our value for May, and leadership, our value for June. The selected students will each receive a certificate to help recognize their efforts. We hope that many members of our parent community will be able to attend.
