EQAO - Grades 3 & 6
A reminder that EQAO testing will begin next week. The Grade 3 students will be working on Math and Language tasks on May 27, and May 30-31. The Grade 6 students will be working in their Math and Language tasks June 1-3. It is very important that students arrive at school on time and that, if possible, no appointments are booked for those days. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
Welcome to Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten team will be holding their annual “Welcome to Kindergarten” event on Wednesday, May 18th from 3:30-5pm. The event is for any families who have children who will be starting Junior Kindergarten at our school next year. The teachers will talk to parents about the Kindergarten program and have the children explore some of the activities the students work on in their Kindergarten classrooms.
Visit from Sacred Heart
On Monday, May 16th, the Grade 6 students were very fortunate to have a visit from Mr. Brisson, from Sacred Heart High School, in the Learning Commons. He talked to the students about the many clubs and activities they could participate in there, and he discussed the routines and schedules the students would follow at Sacred Heart.
Victoria Day on Monday
A reminder that Monday, May 23rd is Victoria Day. It is a holiday, so the school will not be open. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend with friends and family.
