Dear Sir,

I am in receipt of your card for which I thank you & beg to say the walls were photographed to the order of Mesrs Wallis & Son with whom I have contracted for their work at certain trade prices, and the price charged them for the four Walls were one guinea each, which included attendance at the Gallery making negatives & supplying 18” prints.

With regard to supplying you with further prints I am sorry to say I can only supply these through the French Gallery, to whom the negatives belong & their permission must be obtained before I can deal direct with you.
