Coaches Comments: If we said we expected these types of performances in our first meet in December, we would be lying. Just an incredible day overall. We knew the kids would do well because they have been hitting great measurements in practice and working hard, but we would not have predicted 25 Personal Records, 9 School Records, 8 Medals, and a Meet Record Set. The start of the year hasn’t been a perfect world from what we are used to, as our track facility is being completed, but we believe the creativity we have used over the past month in training has laid a great foundation to continue to build for the remainder of the season. These results are a byproduct of the work our kids are putting in every time we get an opportunity, and as the coaches, we are enjoying every opportunity being able to coach them. This team has an opportunity to do great things this year, and we know they will because after the meet, they were already looking forward to practice and getting better.
