III.  Board Members and Offices

• Call for board nominees

• ACTION ITEM: Nominating committee (Karen L, Karl, Gene) will create a Google Form for nominations, stored in 2014 Election folder (viewable by Nominating Committee) Link to the nominating for is here
• ACTION ITEM: Diane/Gene will include information from nominating committee in a Vertical Response email on Nov 1
• ACTION ITEM: Robert P will include information from nominating committee on the SVCUE website on Nov 1

IV. Award Nominees

• SVCUE submits nominees for Outstanding Emerging Teacher, Site Leader of the Year, Gold Disk Award, Technology in Learning Leadership (TILL), Outstanding Teacher

• ACTION ITEM: Michele will send a paragraph to the board about award nominations for review before distributing
• ACTION ITEM: Michele will create a Google Form for award nominations
• ACTION ITEM: Diane will include the award nominee information in Vertical Response
• ACTION ITEM: Robert P will include the award nominee information on SVCUE website
• Ideas for nominees discussed

V. Teach Through Technology

• Format

• Short block for sessions, long block for workshops
• Session 1: 9:00-10:00 (~7 sessions)
• Vendor time: 10:00-10:30
• Session 2: 10:30-11:30  (~7 sessions)
• Vendor time: 11:30-12:00
• Lunch: 12:00-1:00 (Doors do not open until 12pm)
• Workshop: 1:15-3:00  (10+ sessions?)
• Door Prizes: 3:00-3:30

• Purchase SVCUE Banner for various meetings/presentations
• Slides should include information and images for EdCampSFBay, EdCampPaloAlto, EdCampLosAltos, PlayDateSJ, ongoing BrewCUEs, ongoing CoffeeCUEs
• ACTION ITEM: Robert P will get Karen L a list of Imagine K12 startups

VI. Fall CUE

• Karl (presenting), Karen L (presenting), Gene (presenting), Robert P. and Diane (presenting) all attending Fall CUE
• SVCUE sponsored BrewCUE in the plans?

VII.  For the Good of the Order

• Sponsor approx. $200 for breakfast at PlayDateSJ on Feb 15, 2014

• Budget $100 for BrewCUE/CoffeeCUE events on a monthly basis
