MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Small group time includes times for relational interaction within class groupings. For example 7-8th grade boys would make their own group and 9th-10th grade girls, their own group, etc. These groups will facilitate several purposes. They will provide a place for students to build relationships, as well as giving opportunity for small group leaders to direct those relationships into deeper discussions about real-life, spiritual issues. These groups will be multifaceted. There will be time set aside for team building and for discussion of one of the following study books: Thinking Like a Christian, Entrusted: A Study of 2 Timothy, or A Violent Grace: Meeting Christ at the Cross-- a very easy one semester study that will be stretched to one year. Additionally, about once a month small groups will come together for whole school assemblies with teaching on World View or holiday special events. Some students will also use this time slot to participate in committees and student government meetings. In addition these small group times will include students praying for each other as much as their comfort level allows, and students themselves leading discussions and directing conversations. Because RBA strives to bridge between denominations, every effort will made to treat controversial theological issues with care.
A study hall is available for those students who do not participate in small group. It is the same cost.
