Overview
The Junior Football Manager/s works with the Junior Technical Director and the Youth and Junior Program Manager to support the delivery of quality youth football activities at KLUFC as guided by the Board. This includes coordinating the non-football elements of the Junior program, managing information flows and troubleshooting throughout the season and promoting participation in football.
Ideally, one Junior (U5-U12) Football Manager would be appointed for Junior Girls and one for Junior (U5-U12) Boys following an annual Expression of Interest process.
Responsibilities
The Junior Boys Football Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a primary point of contact for any issues around registration and operational aspects of the Junior Boys stream.
- Coordinating the assignment of players, in consultation with the Junior Technical Director, to teams at the beginning of the season based on the Club’s team structure and agreed processes.
- Coordinating the appointment of team specific volunteer roles (coaches and managers).
- Communicating club policies and standards to U5 to U12 players, parents, carers, coaches and other volunteers (e.g., match day setup, codes of conduct, safeguarding children and young people policies etc.).
- Disseminating information relating to team rosters, ground changes, ground checks, and parent complaints.
- Supporting the Junior and Youth Program Manager and Junior Technical Director in the organisation of events throughout the season.

- Have a level of knowledge of/experience with football programs and membership management systems
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Uphold and demonstrate commitment to the values of the Club
- Be honest, open and act with integrity at all times
- Be diligent in carrying out tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications and Training
- Experience in in the use of club systems and resources (or similar systems)
Compliance
- Current Working with Vulnerable People card is required
- Must register in PlayFootball as volunteer for current season
- Must meet all other regulatory and State/National requirements
