Dear Mr. de Laszlo,
It is with great pleasure of course that I will comply with your request and give my portrait [3786] for your exhibition[1] – Would you be kind enough to confirm to me the date upon which they will come for the picture as I have unfortunately mislaid your letter –
We have recently returned from Switzerland where my husband[2] has

been taking a lengthy rest –
I was awfully sorry not to be able to ask you in a second time when you were in Paris last February as it so happened that we were just leaving for the South of France –
We will be glad to see you on the occasion of your exhibition which will no doubt be the outstanding artistic event of the season –
