I have a love of the natural world and wanted to become a research biologist. I dreamed of someday being a scientist in the rainforests of South America.

I worked for many years as a laboratory technician and research & development chemist. I was inspired by my brother and sister, and by the birth of my daughter, and I knew I was meant to be a teacher.

I believe that every student should work to do their best, focus on their growth as learners, and have opportunities to enjoy learning. As their teacher, I will facilitate a healthy and respectful learning environment all along challenging students to learn and grow.
