LET’S TALK CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
Email sent on Thursday, January 10, 2019 to 1,026 contacts (included parents/guardians with an email listed in IC for an active student in grades K-12, five (5) Board of Education Members, and students in grades 9-12.) 39 emails bounced for a variety of reasons, including typos or inactive accounts, leaving a total of 987 emails that were successfully delivered via Let’s Talk.
In addition to Let’s Talk, the survey was also emailed to 189 district staff members (including certified, classified, contracted, and confidential staff.) This total combined with the Let’s Talk delivered emails (987) gives a total of 1,176 surveys delivered via email.
If we assume all 189 staff emails were opened, combined with the opened Let’s Talk emails (516), that makes the number of opened emails 705. If we divide that number by the total number of survey responses (359) we are left with a 51% return rate, again, assuming all staff members opened their email.
