The JHPDA has recently undergone an Executive Board change. We are pleased to welcome Casey Rebholz as the new Co-President for the 2014-2015 term! Casey is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research. She brings to the table her prior experience with the JHPDA’s Professional Development Committee, as a committee member and Co-Chair. As Co-President, Casey aims to increase representation from public health postdoctoral fellows in the JHPDA and support programming for professional development. Casey was elected to fill this position through an internal election among the JHPDA Executive Board, Committee Chairs, and Committee Members (as per the JHPDA Charter) to replace Stephen Gee, who stepped down from his Co-President position.

Be sure to check-out today’s bulletin -- we’re in our 2nd postdoc appreciation week, so we still have many events both this week and next! And don’t forget about POSTDOCtoberfest on Thursday, 9/25 from 5:30-7:30pm - a German themed social event with plenty of food and drinks for all! As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us (postdoc@jhmi.edu) if you have any questions.
