April 26th

Youth workshop for Youth members aged 13+.

“Can you hear me Major Tom?” Is a play around the fan letters to David Bowie. The playwright Mark Wheeler is coming to the plaza to direct a workshop for our older youth members, (due to content)I will be there to facilitate the workshop and also to provide the snacks (of course!)

Come and join us for this exciting opportunity on Sunday 26th April on the Plaza Main stage from 4pm-6pm

Two further workshops are planned :

Sunday 21st June

Sunday 5th July

Plaza Main stage 4pm-6pm

Details to follow on this page and in the Newsletters. These two workshops are open to all Youth members.

There will also be a workshop around the pantomime ( Mother Goose) where the youth members will get a sneek  preview of the information evening and audition pieces for the pantomime casting!

A fun theatre workshop suitable for youth members aged 8-14 years

We currently do not have a regular youth group but we ensure many of our shows have youth cast.

We run four youth workshops per year which focus on different aspects of youth theatre and are run by our members. I am present at each workshop as Youth Liaison and HCC Chaperone. I also run the snack bar!!

Currently many of our youth are involved in panto which is keeping me busy! I will then work on the workshops for this year which will be on a Sunday afternoon.

Your child must be a youth member to attend the workshops and be in a RAODS show. Please complete the membership application if you are not already a member.
