I. Call Meeting to Order

II. Approval of minutes.

III. Officer Reports:

  • Open Feedback Form . 
  • Recruiting co-position for this year’s board for transitioning 2027-2028 board.
  • Did not have enough Sponsors for Shark Run Tees this year.
  • Dining for Dollars: MOD Saturday October 17th.

  • Grant Request: 7 Digital Cameras x $99.
  • Old/Current Budget reconciliation.
  • Budget Committee - Build w/ recognizing Fund-a-Need
  • New Budget line by line Proposal.
  • Budget 26-27.

  • To add items onto next month’s agenda, email to myself or board member 7 days prior to next PTA meeting (held 2nd Tuesday of every month)

  • Shark Run: THIS FRIDAY October 16th - Many hands make this a successful event for our kids.
  • Some volunteers needed: coffee pick up.

  • Been provided for staff in September and planned for October.
  • Birthday Gifts for Staff.

  • Date Friday, March 5, 2027 Full Day. (Backup date 3/19).
  • Looking for more hands-on activities, anything sciency, and/or inclusive, all ideas welcome.
  • Assembly to kickoff the day - opts: Zanniac with Jeff + Rock Solid Science.

  • V. Unfinished/Old Business:
  • Committee Head needed for Seaview Talent Show in the Spring.
  • Library Fines - Will be paid from Seaview Helping Seaview funds.
  • Chess Club (Jess Protas) grant request to fund running costs for Fall and Spring.
  • Carnival recap.

  • VI. New Business:
  • Vote on Standing Rules for 2026-2027.

VII. Announcements:

  • Popcorn Fridays will be returning - Lindsay Jackson and Adam Zylstra to head up. Will coordinate with classroom liaisons for volunteers to pop and hand out at lunchtimes. Starting date TBD.
