Hey y’all!

Katie Kay Chelena is a playmaker + poet + performing artist from the mountains of North Carolina. She is currently based in New York City, where she works as a freelance director, performer, and teaching artist. She is a member of the NY NeoFuturists and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Katie is interested in new play development, theatre as both raucous party and holy tabernacle, and queer Southern celebration and communion.
