QUESTIONS AS TO PERSONAL CHARACTER
(1) How long have you known Mr. de Laszlo.
(2) What occasions and opportunities had you of forming an idea as to his character. Had you friendly and open conversations with him.
(3) Did he ever tell you, before the war, of his determination to settle in England and become naturalised.
(4) Did you ever hear him speak of England and English people, and if so in what terms.
(5) Did you, after the declaration of war, discuss the war with him. What was the attitude he took up in regard to it. How did he speak of the Germans, the Italians, the French, the Russians, the Hungarians.
(6) Can you remember any words used by him which would tend to show he was devoted to England and loyal to her cause.
(7) What opinion did you form as to his personal character and sense of honour.
