MARCUS ALLEN | FS | PENN STATE | 6006 | 205 | 4.50E | POS: #4 | OVR: #66 | 2018

Big play, physical, hard-hitter who isn’t afraid to get his nose dirty and take out the trash—very impressive tackling skills. Shows above average leaping ability on jump balls and plays much longer than his height suggests. Has the burst and speed to blitz from the deep corner spot and track down the quarterback to make the sack. Some of his finest moments came in big game situations—will go down in Penn State lore for his blocked field goal to upset Ohio State in 2016 on their way to winning the Big Ten Championship, which included his huge fourth down stuff against Wisconsin to seal the deal. The biggest knock will be his tendency to go for the big hit rather than making the easy play—he has had his fair share of whiffs and blown assignments. He has also had his collection of double-digit tackle games, including a 22-tackle performance against Minnesota, the most by a Nittany Lion since 2006 (Paul Posluszny). Received a very high draft grade after his junior season from the NFLPA Advisory Board. Is the godson of former Pitt and NFL standout running back Curtis Martin. Very big on the Twitter.
