Preface: The r/WeeklyDictator Government consists of two main entities, the Triumvirate of Oligarchs and the dictator. Every other force, federation, bureau, committee, justice system, etc, can be manipulated by them.

The Triumvirate of Oligarchs (TO):

Structure:

  1. Three different people, oligarchs, make up the TO.
  2. The oligarchs are switched out once a month.
  3. In order to become an oligarch, one must be chosen as the successor of a leaving oligarch.
  1. If a leaving oligarch fails to choose, it will be up to the dictator.
  2. If the dictator fails to choose after the oligarch failed to choose, it will be up to the party of the dictator’s general consensus.
  3. If for some reason the party of the dictator can’t come to a general consensus after the leaving oligarch and dictator failed to choose, it will be up to one of the overseers.
  1. [HIGHLY IMPORTANT] When selecting the dictator, the TO should look for the following attributes:

                        1. Clearly visible public support

                        2. Persistence and dedication

                        3. Experience and activity

Failure to address these qualities within their dictator appointee could result in serious consequences such as banishment or worse, as decided by the overseers.

Duties:

  1. In charge of appointing new dictators, requiring a two out of three agreement on who they choose.
  2. Required to make sure the dictator is doing all of their duties.
  3. Act as a council of advisors to the dictator.

The Dictator:

Structure:

  1. Made up of one person, the dictator.
  2. The dictator gets to be in power for at least a week before they can be overthrown.
  3. In order to become the dictator, one must start a revolution against the current one and get selected by the TO.

Duties:

  1. Required to choose a theme for the subreddit under their reign.
  2. Has the ability to change/make laws.
  3. Has the ability to ban/unban people.
  4. Has the ability to edit the subreddit and discord, minus the appearance (branding is important).
  5. Has control over the economy.
  6. Has the ability to create militaries, committees, federations, bureaus, whatever other government institutions they want.
  7. Has the ability to set a national anthem.
  8. Has the ability to deem parties as officially recognized by the state or not.
  9. Has the ability to do/create whatever they want as long as it doesn’t change the appearance and game rules of the sub and discord.
