Something began in the 1950s, reached its zenith (Or something), and [remains] or [has remained] (something) ever since… IS IT REMAINS OR HAS REMAINED
it’s “has remained”. the “since” makes it present perfect

other 2 choices were flux & digression

It was like “Free will need not be _____, but people’s belief that it exists is imperative”
Was imperative the right answer????? imperative agree x105 What about the professor one -------- WHAT WERE THE OTHER OPTIONS?
The question was something like: The concept of free will is ____ but it is ______, because people depend on it for their autonomous lifestyles.
one option was debatable and imperative (x1) and another risible
wasn’t this one the immaterial answer??
WAS AN ANSWER FOR DARK MATTER PERVASIVE? I failed the dark matter passage, I probably got like four wrong from that one passage but I already have a 730 anyway
it …...was... unverfiable. dark matter IS pervasive. meaning that it’s literally everywhere in space. it can be verified cus of iojadifjoisadjfoiadfkciajdc dicjadci the experiment the guy was talking aboutsomething of some importnaceakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. it’s ok i did pretty shit on this passage too. i was so tired out i was DONE didnt even pay attention and i kinda regre it

what was the question?
it said which was not mentioned about dark matter

Painter taught herself how to paint instead of formal art classes
it’s autodidact agree x27 SELF TEACHING = auto-didact yaaaaaaaaaas
I thought the auto prefix was a trick so I put neophyte x2
neophyte sounded so good but i put autodidact
- other options were iconoclast and neophyte, darnnnnnnn
What was the question with untenable? It said something about the bears dying due to lack of animals or something. The choices were incoherent, untenable etc. I put untenable (x1)
I dont really know where this question goes, but it was in the writing section and it was the one where it was talking about the two wales. it was something like The humpback whales songs are nicer or something than that of some other kind of whale blabla… i put c (i think) cause it was comparing the song of one whale to a whale which is incorrect right? thats what i put, but i forgot what letter it was
ONLINE NEWSPAPER DOUBLE PARAGRAPH PASSAGE
Passage 1 would say Passage 2 was:
unduly negative? did you guys get that? agree x22 YES!
What about utterly groundless? agree x1
utterly groundless is too extreme of an answer choice
It was insightful the passage was asking about the quoted guy - wright 17 people say youre wrong. we all know a number as large as 17 has never been wrong before
what is genius but a minority of 1?? i guess you’re right fuck
na, it was the one below that, im almost positive. i forget what it was though. - wrong
Passage 2 would say that the guy in Passage 1:
Didn’t account for the offset money lost from print advertising - like he was saying that online revenue was increasing, but wasn’t accounting for the losses overall (x13) WOOHOO!
The author would assume…
Print is a better investment for advertisers x15 yass WHAT????
you say confused or skeptical for the guys inital reaction to the city?? shit got that wrong i put confused I PUT AWED…. agree with awe. I would have put skeptical, but I think the hearing thing about the plane was a joke really… it was awed i agree, deffinately awed
It is Awed because in the lines it stated Shocked in a sentence which indicates AWED not confussed [shocked in which lines]
I put awed agree x35 AWED
i put confused x13. in the beg he was talking about how weird it was to not hear anything in NYC ; right! he found the surrounding quite different from that in Africa. When he first arrived he was confused by the taxi so much, the later revelations weren’t initial. The silence confused him, he wasn’t exactly in awe. I was inclined to put awe too but i reread INITIAL and i read the first paragraphs. I’m thinking he was awed by the hubris- the deafness was an exagerration anywayi’ put confused
i think awe was a trap - i put confused
I think it’s awe because he was baffled and amazed that the cars weren’t making noise like they did in Ethiopia. He said that he thought he lost his hearing because he was in such awe
WHAT DID YOU GUYS SAY ABOUT THE TIMBER PASSAGE???
Furniture makers should consider wood or smth,
I answered that the author wanted us to use less steel and plastic in the future.(x3) it never really said that timber should be the only material used. WORDS: Neophyte ( autodidacte YEAH BABY YUT
(first short passage question)Steel and plastic should be used less in the future for construction??? agree x26
what were the other choices? Remove steel + plastic in favor of timber (I think a) but that was wrong
Why is it not A? He wanted to lessen the use of steel + plastic, not entirely remove it, i think*
Another answer choice for that problem was: “Only use plastic if it uses less energy than wood,” which makes a lot of sense, since the author made the determining factor for why plastics are bad of “they use more energy than wood.” If plastic could be produced with a lower energy-consumption than timber, then the author would prefer you to use plastic.
^Why was this answer choice wrong?
It wasn’t. But it wasn’t the BEST answer. The author only said “use wood because it uses less energy,” not “only use wood because wood is cool, lets use it in the future
Does anyone have a copy of this passage actually?
I remember it. His only justification for preferring wood over plastic is that the production of wood uses less energy than plastic does. Plastic is bad? The only “negative” the author gave was that it used more energy. Ok, we’ll see.
That’s you assuming-- i hope! Otherwise I’m off, but I’m sticking to B. Last sentence of the passage talking about using plastic and whatnot more sparingly in the future.
(second short passage question) talks about efficiency. agree x32
wasnt^ this one like complexity? Because it asked in the question about the “Manufacturing process” and the answer would have been complexity because wood’s process to be manufacture compared to steel’s is like 20 times less complex or something? nope. It’s efficiency because it’s talking about how much ENERGY was needed in each. I agree with you, it never mentioned about efficiency it said more energy was needed which equals complex
Short Passage about movies
The lady had varying talents and was an inspiration for future female actresses agree x10
For one of the questions did you guys get pass? It was an In text vocab question(SLIP). It was earlier in the test. I remember putting pass for something. It was either pass or sneak. Other option was Elude. PASS yep yep pass(x6)
--it was the older movies/actors _slip_ into obscurity
I put pass agree x26
sneak?x8
elude… x2 dammit i put elude, i knew i should have put pass.. pass sounds wierd though and it deffinately was not sneak. idk
i put trip x1 why is it not trip? can someone please answer this? i’m so worried… how can it possibly be trip? How would you trip into obscurity? yeah bitch
Why is it not elude? - I put pass, but elude makes sense too. Not totally sure.
elude means to avoid. Doesn’t make sense in context
Why not sneak? ANYONE?
i had it down between sneak and pass idk what i put though
^ me too. I put pass at first but changed it to sneak because I felt like sneak would portray the gradual process of the movies being forgotten more.
Hollywood in its early days was (referring to the lost movies)
corrupt x1 it wasnt corrupt, was talkinga bout how they didnt look into the future and such
misguided x0 <- this was a different question, it said that the producers were misguided in treating their films like newspapers or something
shortsighted x33
traditional x0
unsophisticated x0
superseding x5←- what question was this????? I’m pretty sure it was a math question? wtf? lolol - No, it was saying that the current generation of movie stars supersedes the past ones ---i don’t remember this
DO ANY OF YOU remember vocab questions? there arent that many up there and im kind of freaking out!
I thought the vocab was easier than usual --- yeah me too
Im trying to make a list with all the vocab questions so if any of you remember any of them i would really appreciate it
there was one with intense heat -- EXACERBATE x12 damn
Oh the one about some lady TRACING African tribal traditions that were PRESERVED on an island x4
There was the one where im pretty sure the answer was ENCROACH ON(x7) i forget the question though --it was something about mother hyena attacking another hyena for encroaching on her child’s food. it was encroach on
- I answered Encroach on as well
-dangit i put intercede with
CELEBRITY PUBLICITY PASSAGE
What about the Ones about publicity? Anyone remember the questions?
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER ANY MORE OF THE ?’S FROM THIS PASSAGE??!
Anyone get a later question about “questioning the justification” or something like that?
i had that for an answer choice ---what would author 2 respond to some figure in passage 1? answer is something like? : author of passage 2 would ask some figure of passage 1 to justify his claims supporting publicity rights by providing justification and explanation x1
Both passages deal with…
Celebrity publicity x 7- Seemed a little obvious but the other ones didn’t make sense
Ty
Passage 2 author would view an argument referenced in passage 1 with…
Sympathy and approval x18
skepticism and concern? anybody? No it can’t be because the argument supported passage 2’s point
I put surprise and delight because I didn’t think sympathy made much sense? Does surprise make sense..?
But it wouldn’t be surprising. Assume sympathy just means understanding.’
I narrowed it down to disinterest and neutrality and sympathy and approval. The sympathy part is what threw me off because he would be sympathetic to what? I thought it would be more disinterest and neutrality because he would just acknowledge that it supports his pov? Idk
I put surprised and delight because since it supported his point of view, I assumed that he would be delighted. Am I wrong in thinking this? I stayed away from that one because it seemed too extreme. Your explanation makes sense though
That’s probably right because I was having a lot of second thoughts on that question and what finally ended up deciding it was I didn’t get the sympathy part. CR is my weak spot tho so whatever. It’s my weak spot too :// haha good luck
There was a question on the last lawyer in passage 1. Was it something like he “was misguided with people’s interest in celebrity”? ← i thought the answer was something like he was biased? nah bitch
Yeah I put he’d think the lawyer would be biased in favor of celebrities since he works with him? I remember there was a whole paragraph in passage 2 dedicated to why the “common sense” thing was biased in favor of the rich so I put that. The others didn’t really make sense to me
THERE WAS a questions about who benefited? Or why some wanted the laws? One option was Entrepreneur, don’t think that one was right though. anyone?^
Did anyone say something about existing social structure? x13 what was this question??
what would the author of passage 2 say about the court decisions:
the courts need to protect the less fortunate
or should consider all economic aspects before making a case agree x24 is this the answer? choice about basic fair economic practices?
or small businesses have more right to money than large corporations?
What was the relationship between passage 1 and passage 2:
passage 2 answers a question from passage 1 definitevly
passage 2 explores
I put something about rationale instead
Was it the one with critique? ^ agree x7
Was the answer that Passage 2 critiqued a claim in Passage 1? x1
Passage 1 was more balanced. Passage 2 only had one opinion. agree x19 NO! the answer was passage 2 critiqued a claim because he criticizes the ideology that we have “common sense” towards right of publicity -- was this the last question (the balance one)? -- I remember seeing balance but not common sense? me too --oh no, they're talking about the difference between the two passages (passage 2 critiqued 1) -- that was the first question in the passage --oh ok
Passage 1 was more balanced because it took both viewpoints into consideration. Passage 2 just attacked the viewpoint of Passage 1.
Passage 2 implies that common sense can…?
something about social order or intensify cultural conflicts? x2
perpetuate a social order (x13)
aw damn….
Crowd oversourcing writing section, with the black circles?? it was weird
what? must have been experimental
DARK MATTER PASSAGE
what was the answer to the first question on the dark cirle? it asked about the purpose of the passage. i chose composition and structure .agree x5
I chose Discovery and significance agree x16
#11 the significance of lines 32-33 in the whole of the passage?
the discovery and the influence or something like that?
It was a principle that led scientists to infer dark matter. agree x25
The think about “gravity itself”. Was it that scientists had expectations based on unsubstantiated data? x12
Or something like that…? I got a different answer i put that they inferred existence of dark matter x3
but it said something like stars to galaxies to clusters of galaxies?
It had a smaller effect on stars than galaxies agree x19← This! What was this question??
Copernican Revolution - TO DRAW A PARALLEL(easy) agree x33 - can someone write this full answer choice so i can remember? so what was the question? - i can’t remember anything...
Pretty sure that was the full one. I put ...assumption
Something in the first reading section was a SIMILE agree x35
simile, used like
What did people put for the last question on the dark matter passage? (something that best sums up the passage) something like technology can help but can also produce mysteries? technological progress can bring up questions agree x28 WHAT HOW WHY It mentions the optical telescopes advancing and seeing other previously unknown particles. N now we can see the effects of dark matter which brings more questions or mysteries and answers such as (neutron stars, nebula dust etc{as mentioned in the passage}).
there was another answer that said “intuition is required for discoveries” or something like that
2
Assesses possible explanation and rules it unsatisfactory agree x11 (what was the question?)
NOT dismisses the exception as irrelevant (contradictory) ←- This is wrong because it was relevant
how about: expresses a doubt and something else like consider it as a possibility...im not sure
What question was this??
the author primarily talks about dark matter’s discovery and significance?x11 OR origin/function x1 structure and components… something like that?
I put the the structure and components. Was this right? I think so
Most similar to…
Archeologist x1
Detective x32 (crime scene -- sign of a break in but no footsteps)crime, no perpetrator
Biologist
The future of astronomy was “bright” - means promising Agree x20
How about the question that was like overall in the passage how did the finding of dark matter change the overall view of the passage? and then all the answers talked about how exotic particles or something affected the particles that started with a b? i put E i think. i think me and this guy below me are talking about the same thing…
I think I put something about how baryonic didn’t affect exotic particles I THINK
Question in bottom right of page opposite the passage: which of the following assumptions would be true if it turned out that exotic non-baryonic particles existed
-That normal matter would be affected by exotic non-baryonic particles (as in the case of dark matter affecting stars/galaxies, etc.) i put something about gravitational pull i think? x1
-I put something like not nearby to each other…. YES this is it because in the passage it states that we havent seen exotic particles… and u can infer that this is the case bcause its nowhere near the particles we KNOW that exist
- i put: exotic particles can have a gravitational effect on baryonic particles...agree x8
and there was a line in there about how everything in the universe has a gravitional pull on everything else
introspective vs. speculative?
i put speculative?
ETHIOPIAN iN NEW YORK post questions pls
when he first arrived what was he? confused x1or in awe x3?
the “sound” was…? options were like something about a result of being a newcomer, i chose something else but i cant remember what it was - Was this choice E?
immigrants grew accustomed to new culture
“sound” new customs x9
there was another choice saying that it was an invitation to do something? i put that because of all the talk about the sort of system and the sound invites new immigrants to come and join the system
What is the role of the last word (memory)?
im pretty sure it was finding his self identity because in the previous paragraph it talks about himself sort of not knowing his own identity because of the new environment. agree x20
- i put it was his sincerity in chronicling his experiences x6
^i put sincerity too… he talked about how he wanted to impress this moment in his mind… so it went with the whole “chronicling experiences” < same
except it didnt say that he wanted to chronicle for POSTERITY
Why was one hubris distinct from the other?
explicitly referred to past experience agree x 33
feelings vs sight x3
suddenly aware of the taxi driver’s speed x1
what were the other answers for this? one was about him missing ethiopia or something
UGH I GOT THIS WRONG :’( :( :( :(
why isnt it he got scared of the driver x3 oops Why would it be? dammit
Possible Experimental Section
Did anybody else have a CR section about the role of news organizations and how they need to deliver “raw” and unfiltered news? Also included a large data table which showed public opinion shift on mainstream news organizations over time.
Yeah I actually had that one --me too
no agree 4x
CR section about nonurban vs urban business production?
did anyone get the organic v commerical food and like 2 graphs nope!

MATH
was there an experimental math section???-yes the one with p=mv--CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?-yup- Was it the one that had the 3 circles that were tangent to each other?? I omitted like 5 on that one...you mean skipped?
was the one with basic plan, deluxe plan, and universal plan experimental? does anyone remember this?
I didnt have that one^^^ so it may be experimental
I didn’t have it but I DID have an experimental math.
Pretty sure there was an experimental math about hockey rink/ stop sign/ scientific formula/ and graph about entertainment choices?
writing
PETITION A AND B QUESTION IN MATH = WAS THIS SECTION EXPERIMENTAL?????
Yes. I had two 18 question math sections. This one was far too much like the new SAT. It asked about vertex form and everything was a word problem. Section with the grid was right.
did you have a question with 3 tangent circles? And the circumference was 9pi, in the same sectioN? Yea thats the one i think is the exp.np lol i didnt take tht one seriously, i pretty much knew it was the exp when i omitted question 2 …
I had this section but my experimental was a math section
AHHHHH I FAILED THE MATH SECTION :( :( :(
was the maze question on the same section>??
yeah
Q: something about a maze. Shortest distance. was it 14 or 18.
A: 18 agree x11
i got 14. there were two different routes. one of was 18 and the other was 14. it had to be the shortest one. so 14 is the answer. agree x18
^^Can we resolve this? I think it was 18
it had to be 18...look at the direction arrows ‘TWAS EIGHTEENNNNNNN my 800 is on the line it was 18
I’m sure I looked at the direction and i took the rout going straight down by three and four to the right by 4. So i got 6+ 8 and got 14.
You could not go 4 to the right as it eventually went up
I looked at the direction multiple times and got 18
You can’t go down three and four to the right because the arrows didn’t point in the right direction. 14 is the answer you get when you just go the shortest distance, from A to B, regardless of the arrows.
direction mattered and i got 18, if you didnt follow the arrows properly, you got 14 i did this question maybe 5 times, so sorry to break it to you, but it’s for sure 18 -the section had a lot of charts and tables to analyze. Looked like act science did you have the momentum formula with the 4 corresponding questions?were they at the end of that section?middle can there be diff experimentals?. I don't remember. Maybe. Or m
isoscles right triangle: between root2/10 to root2/5= hypotenuse, what was a possible solution for the legs
⅕ works ⅙ worked as well; 1/7 worked; 0.153orkedx2
.15 x3
i put .177
the grid in question that was like the hypotenuse is (*root*2/)
5 -- (*root*2/) 10 what is one of the legs--- I had .125 originally then changed it to 1.25 anyone remember the question/answer?
THat one depends it was sqrt(2)/10<x<sqrt(2)/5
so basically it was any fraction between (1/10)<x<(⅕) x3
You had to make sure the fraction^2 +fraction^2 = the hypotenuse^2
i put ⅕= legs, root2/5
DARN my original answer was right! ugh
DOES .125 WORK FOR ^^^^ (used root 2 over 8) yes, anywhere between .1 and .2 worked agree x3
thanks man you rock
if there were k consecutive integers, and the median of 1 through k is 99, what is k? wowowowow i put 50 thinking it was the median of 1 and 99, same :(
shooting for an 800 on math hopefully, i dont see any in these discussions that i disagree with…
I will be happy with a 700 tbh
Yeah a lot of people thought the math was hard.
Which ones do you think you flipped up on?
I thought it was easy but my math isnt amazingWe’ll see on the 26th.
do scores ever come out earlier than the date they say
Never...No. Unless you take the october SAT, the colleges will actually GET your score before you do, which is scary AF.
That’s why i took the June SAT and didn’t wait until Oct.
my scores got delayed last time bc I mess
apparently a computer is sometimes one of the essay graders
Funny story: You know the bubbles on the front of the answer packet, that say “for grader’s only” or something. It had three rows of numbers, 1-6, aka the writing essay grade. So i bubbled in “6” on the first two, and erased them, but you could still see the pencil residue. So maybe when the people are grading my essay they’ll think someone already graded my essay as a 6????? HAHAHA I hope so lol

Highest number = 197 agree x11
Easier way: (dr chung) in consecutive numbers average = median. Average = 1 + last / 2. 1 + 197 = 198 / 2 = 99.
did you get 197 for the median one of 99 with consecutive numbers? agree x19 what was th
not 198? nope, what formula would you use Yeah i couldnt process that. 198 is even therefore it would have a (x+x)/2
got 197 because 198 would be something halved for a median
If you guys had a graphing calculator and have taken stats, you could’ve inputted it into list 1 , 1 and (answer) then ran a 1 var- stat to see the median, then test out all the answers until you get one that gives you a median of 99I GOT 198 wrong its 197
its 197 i wrote it all out at home lmao

l=kx+t n=mx+b what was t-b(or b-t) if line l moved over 6 to the right, m=0.5 can someone attempt to draw the graph for this? or give the rest of the givens bc i think they gave us more..
Both lines have same slope. When line l is moved over you do l=k(x-6)+b. Graph all the choices and one will be right eventually #gladitsnotagridin
how about the coordinate plane question with the line moving to the right to coordinate with the other
it was 3 i just plugged into calc :/<<YEP << my life x18
I just looked at it since it didn’t say it wasn’t drawn to scale and guessed
The slope was 0.5, so every time it moves 2 to the right, it moves 1 down. 6/2 = 3 ARGHHHHH DARNED MATH SECTION
CAN SOMEONE ARGUE FOR 6? um no cuz its wrong… --i got the slop was 1 and answer as 6?
Wait, I thought the question was asking for t-b? Bc I got 3 for t and then subtracted b and got a different answer, gosh I’m so scared that I did everything right but then put in the wrong answer. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! yeah it said t-b
Do we know the slope of k?x2
prime number between 60 and 70, (Used 67)
(67x2)+1 squared will give you a number of 5
Do you guys remember the grid in that asked for a digit in the ones place? I got 9. agree x13 The number i used was 61 x1. same but 67 could be used to get 5 agree ; i got 1
Could be 5 or 9 ← correct
what question was this

Was it really the diagonal to perimeter? Idk i remember getting 4:1. maybe I read the question wrong
answer to the graph with average precipitation and average January temperature? average temperature = <30 and avg precipitation >40

Question with the sequence of x^2-3 first term is 2 what is the 142th term? I got -2 because it was even ← wrong
ALL EVEN TERMS WOULD BE 1 so {2, 1, -2, 1, -2, 1, -2, 1, -2, 1,...} I got 1(agree x18 the first term is 2, the second term is 1, the third term is -2, the fourth term is one. At that point you can extrapolate the sequence terms to 1 okay so that means that
MOre specific? well if the fourth term = 1, then that means that the third term, excluding the first = 1...since 141 is divisible by 3 the 142 term (add 1 back in) must = 1 Or that eveyr even term was 1
2,1,-2,1,-2,1,-2,1
what was the question? I swear 4th number was -2 uh meant 142 was -2 check the terms in the sequence the sequence is (n^2)-3 where 2 is the FIRST first term lol sorry then the second term is 1, third term is negative two, and the fourth term is 1 this was a really annoying question IT WAS 1
WTF WAS THE QUESTION WITH THE DIRECTIONAL SQUARES???
18? <--it was 18 yeah x19 who tf thought of that question??
Not right. 18 was the value of y. Y=18. X=36. It was asking for x. x=2y; x=36. BUT other than that yes 18 was a correct method, just not the answer to the question.
What was the question^? Ya the question was dumb, i felt like i was in 1st grade counting squares….
Did it mention you had to follow the arrows? Because if not the shortest path would have been 10 bc pythagorean triples yeah it said the arrows had to be followed...
wtf are pythagorean triples
there were 3 squares, 2 x’s, 1 y, if x was twice of y, what was x?

the woman who went to Cuba, Spain, and Mexico anyone remember the answer?
Ruth Behar has written widely on her experiences traveling in Cuba, Spain, and Mexico, HER (<-- I’m pretty sure “her” was there) being particularly interested in the intersection of various cultures?Yeah thats right x7
IT SHOULD BE BEING BECAUSE the “her...cultures” is a dependent clause that describes who? Ruth Behar so her is not needed.
Her Being... (x8) Ruth has written widely, her being particularly interested of various cultures. There was one that had particular instead of particularly, which was a neat little trick.
I put per being since Mexico can’t be particularly interested of blah blah
Being… (x14) Ruth has written widely, being particularly interested of various cultures
But wouldn’t that feel like it could apply to Spain? Ruth…...Spain, being widely interested… ← agree, can someone add to this?
Was this option b? either B or C
An interest of hers being the intersection of… ?
How is that possible? Being is a horrible answer. -> the problem is that the other ones would have made it a run on sentence, particularly the “it is one”
is “being” error < run-on, though? don’t think so bc the being sentence couldnt stand on it’s own
any option with being is almost always wrong --key word almost
it was def. a choice with “being.” the one that looked appealing created a run-on sentence. i read it over and over to make sure my eyes werent lying

General Discussion
Requirements to get a job at the collegeboard: like LSD and know how to draw shapes in ridiculous ways.
They didn’t even thank us for taking their expensive and painful test. They just said the test is over leave now.
The writing was easier than usual <--YES
math was a little harder? a bit NO NOT A BIT A TON HARDER, maybe a bit. I just misread ALOT...I thought it was the easiest section of sat i’ve ever taken I think it was easier but i think i go 1 wrong… good thing i already got an 800 :P
reading harder...no <<darn, compared to March march was harder donkey YAS HARDER> reading was easier than usual especially compared to march

idk guys im worried that my essay is kinda cliche and also a bit inappropriate. i said yes to the character thing and used Jordan Belfort (hes a real dude, but idk if the movie makes it inappropriate???) and i used death of a salesman. i dont think my examples were great tbh so i’ll be happy to get an 8
What did you think of the last writing question in section 10? Do you think college board made a mistake? They kept repeating had in the answer choices...x3 HAD HAD
^^was the answer for this using “as” ?
what was the actual question for this?
they dont make mistakes. They do sometimes not saying they did.
No, the collegeboard is an elite society that will never make a mistake. You are making a mistake by saying they could possibly make one. http://thecollegepanda.com/past-sat-curves/ Look at math may 2011
had was correct because the question had “by…(a year)” x1
And it was something about a company….so you would have to use “it” and not “they” because company is singular…? agree x8 it had had

Was the comparative CR on the bill of rights, that talked about the magna carta in each, experimental?? Because i had like 5 left that I didn’t finish on that shit.? probably was experimental cause i didn't have that… i had a writing experimental
experiential was some cr section with graphs and MIT or something like that i def. knew something was off bc it asked me to refer to previous q’s to answer like ok
Was there a math experimental?
Was the math experimental the one with the table of record low and high temperatures for all the months with the question what is the difference between the ranges of the low and high?
my math experimental was the petition one...also, the second question on my (hopefully) experimental math section was about parabolas. it seemed waaay too hard to be a 2nd question
POSSIBLE EXPERIMENTAL SECTIONS!!!
MATH:
A question about Petition A and Petition B
Third side of the triangle, one is 15 and the others are x and 2x?

One side has length 15. side two is half side three. What is the length of the shortest side.
I must have done it wrong. did 15^2 = 2b^2 + b^2 came out to be like 8.6. confused the fuck outa me
you just had to plug the answers in
i forgot the triangle rule thingy where the sum is equal/more than
well because 225 = 3b^2
75 = b^2

b = 8.66?
the smallest of the answers was 6

was this in the experimental section? May have been not sure. I had the test with the essay on lying or being truthful
i had the character and success essay
im really hoping this one was the experimental one
I had this one too, If there were 4 math sections does that mean one is experimental?
can someone go over the petition question? i dont remember it but had math experimental. or any other questions from that section?
Did anyone take the march SAT and feel like the CR section was harder in this one than that one?
i took the march. I felt that the march had one hard and the other two sections were hard. So this one was therfore a little bit harder so maybe a more lenient curve, maybe -3 =800 I feel like March’s passages were harder. This one just had more answer traps
I think I missed 6 or 7 on CR this test
me too (x2)
what did u get in march in each section and total
I got 750 CR I got 670 cr
690 writing 640 reading(didnt study, think i got high 600’s mid 700’s now)
710 math 790 math

what do u think cr: 4-8 wrong

writing -2 to -6 with 9-11 essay
I’m super shit at guessing curves haha. I felt like I got a 2000 on march but pulled 2150
is it better to skip or guess? like when should a person guess? I never skip, i feel like if i guess id get more points just there is that chance
no the reason i put between 2 and 6 is that i know i got 2 wrong but had educated guesses on 4 so idk how many i got wrong. fghWH
