Curriculum and Instruction 

with Emphasis in Educational Technology

Core Courses: The following 12 semester hours are required:

_____ ED 672 -- Issues in American Education (3 hrs)

_____ ED 660 -- Advanced Education Psychology (3 hrs)

_____ ED 665 -- Introduction to Educational Research (3 hrs)

_____ ED 668 -- Curriculum Development and Evaluation (3 hrs)

Area of Concentration:  A minimum of 24 semester hours from the courses below including the two required courses. Substitutions must be approved by the Graduate Program Advisor, the department's Graduate Program Committee, and the Chairperson of the department.

Required Courses:

___ ED 685 -- Issues in Educational Technology (3 hrs)

___ ED 680 -- Integrating Educational Technology in Curriculum (3 hrs)

Electives 18 hours: Elective courses are chosen and approved in cooperation with the program advisor.

A capstone experience is required for all Curriculum and Instruction graduates.
