The New Deal's Programs and Policies
Your group will be assigned one of the New Deal components to investigate in greater detail. You will be sharing your group's work with the rest of the class in the New Deal Components Group Sharing forum.
What were the major elements of the New Program that Roosevelt created to address the problems related to the Depression?
Reform, Recovery and Relief were the three major components of the New Deal. There are several programs and policies that support these three components.
In this activity you will investigate the policies and programs of the New Deal. Each group will investigate a different act or program and present what they have learned to the class. It may be helpful for each group to make an image, web page or poster with the title of the act or program and a few key details about the act.
This resource will help you get started. It provides information about all of the assigned components.
