I am compiling this information because…

  • Many “local” people are asking about events related to “No Kings 3” on March 28, 2026.
  • Non-locals have contacted me about booking flights to come rally in DC - but the reality appears to be that national organizations are focusing on events in Minnesota.
  • Of note, some are wondering about marches versus rallies so that they can make decisions about attending multiple events, accessibility needs, etc.

Regarding 3/28 in the DC-area, there are numerous events being planned:

  • It is important to note that such events will happen close to predicted Peak Blossom for the Cherry Blossoms.
  • This means that there will likely be many tourists on the roads and paths in the areas where NK3 events may be occurring…hopefully, a wonderful way to engage with all sorts of “attendees.”

Parking: Free parking is available at the Hyattsville Crossing Metro garage and in nearby neighborhoods. We have permission to park at the First United Methodist Church of Hyattsville (6201 Belcrest Rd) and at the Church of the Brethren (4413 Tuckerman Street at Route 1). You are also encouraged to walk or bicycle!

NEW! Food Drive Drop Off at No Kings: Rt 1 Mutual Aid will be at the University Park Church of the Brethren (4413 Tuckerman Street) parking lot from 10–11:30am with a specific ask. Help us build a mountain of rice, bags of beans, and cans of tuna! This will help restock essentials so we can continue to support immigrant neighbors and other community members. If you've been looking for a tangible way to say NO to Kings and YES to community right now, this is it. Come by, drop off, and say hi! Announcing our Sign-Making Parties!

Indivisible Route 1 Corridor is hosting two sign-making parties to prepare for our No Kings 3: Celebration of Resistance. Bring yourself and your ideas! We’ll have ample art supplies and stencils available – plus snacks, stickers, and a button-making station so you can make your own protest pin. If you like, you can pre-order one of Gary R’s cool and creative printed signs. (The media loves them – some have shown up in international news coverage!) Thursday, 3/19, 7-8:30pm at Hyattsville Mennonite Church, 4217 East-West Highway. The church has a small parking lot, or you can take the Green Line to Hyattsville Crossing Metro station, and the church is a 15-minute walk away.
