With Simply Wrap Pro you can create a wrapped mesh/ curve around an object or character in seconds.
This documentation should help you to understand this addon and is helping you to set up wrapped curves and meshes fast and easy.
When I used the usual method of shrinkwrap and a curve with the Extrude settings, it usually took several minutes to get a rough result. Additionally you have to adjust the curve/mesh with the Proportional Edit tool. This simply takes a lot of time and costs some people their nerves!
You select your collision object and start drawing. You draw in zigzag from one view on both sides. The orientation of the faces is automatically detected by the addon. So you don't have to worry about rotating around your object all the time.
So I came up with the idea to develop Simply Wrap Pro. Alberto Gonzalez (AFX) programmed the function under my guidance and imagination. I customized the workflow and created the UI design so that it is intuitive to use.
Alberto's add ons can also be found https://blendermarket.com/creators/albertofx . I am very grateful to him and can only recommend everyone to get his addons! The addons save you tons of time and are great to use!
Take a look at the videos and pictures of Simply Wrap Pro and convince yourself of the power of the wrapping addon!
I recommend to create a base wrap mesh with the addon and to edit it afterwards with the Cloth Sculpt Brushes, if necessary.
Make your own impression!
The add-on is only available in English and does not support other languages.
Download SimplyWrap.zip from Marketplace
You select the .zip you downloaded and activate the addon.
DO NOT UNZIP THE DOWNLOADED .zip FILE!
It is displayed as Simply Wrap Pro in the category (N-panel) on the right
That's it!
The selected object will be displayed in front
Wireframe on / off
Displays the orientation of the face
Displays the objects transparently
Start with selected object and prepare for wrapping.
Start the wrapping process by drawing.
Switches the page on which the drawing is done
Current page is fixed and not changed while drawing
Thickness of the drawn line
With Path Smooth the curve is smoothed while drawing the higher the value is.
I recommend leaving it at 0.10 for best results.
Current maximum value of points when drawing.
More points = more detail, less point= less detail
Shows the current page on which the drawing is done.
Current page is fixed and not changed when drawing.

Decides whether the drawn wrap will shrinkwrap the collision mesh after drawing or not.
With Surface Offset you set the distance to the collision object while drawing.
With Path Smooth the curve is smoothed while drawing the higher the value is.
I recommend leaving it at 0.10 for best results.
Decimate the collision object for better performance when drawing the wrap.
Viewport (on/off)
Displays the decimation modifier
Trash can
Deletes the collision for the selected mesh and you can choose a "different object" for drawing a wrap object.
Friction
0 Friction = Wrap hardly any friction on the Collision object
higher Friction = Wrap object high friction on the Collision object
Thick Inner
Inner distance at collision to the wrap object
Thick Outer
Outer distance at the collision to the wrap
Displays a curve, if available
Mesh
Displays a wrap mesh, if present
Confirms all corrections and changes to the wrap object, making it static. Thickness, Width and can be changed afterwards.
This trims the ends of the wrap to get a clean result.
