1.Students discuss the term commitment and give examples of how it is demonstrated.

2. Students explain “firmness of heart” demonstrated by St. Isidore the Farmer and St Maria de la Cabeza from the reading.

3. Students write a two paragraph essay on the topic while citing text evidence.

Glorious Mysteries.  

 

1.Students view picture of each mystery and recount events based on the image from http://www.catholic-kids.com/picturemysteries.html

2.Students identify each mystery and categorize it.

3. Students choose one set of mysteries and write an account of each event.

  1. Students write an essay based on lives of two saints described on a reading.
  2. Students give a written account of each of ONE set of Mysteries.
  3. Students recite the Hail Mary and

1. Students watch video on the apparition of Mary to St. Bernadette  and to the children of Fatima.

2. Students compare/contrast the stories. 3..Students explain how these stories demonstrate the importance of reciting the rosary.
