Day 8
From Wednesday morning’s +9.50% portfolio advance to Friday’s close and its sharply wounding -7.17% under water mark, the issues being traded have swung by nearly 20% in just a couple of days. That is volatility and typical of daily cycle conclusions, which it appears both the stock market and US Dollar established this past Friday.
A few of the purposes of this study are to show how to use the TSI and 200 ema indicators in real time, for me to learn how to sharpen my skills using them, and also to experience how often intuitive interpretation of the indicators is beneficial or disastrous.
Half way through the study now I am satisfied that I am experiencing the above three objectives favorably. The strange situation of the US Dollar moving generally in lock step direction with the S&P 500 has kept me off balance in accurately anticipating various things, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.
For Monday’s open, there are 3 trades recommended:
1. BUY (TO COVER) - SPY
2. SELL - GLD
3. SHORT - GDX
