It all started off, when Melody’s mom and dad woke her up. Melody’s dad  would usually carry Melody down the stairs but his hand was hurt so her mom had to. Her mom got her dressed and fed her. While she was eating Penny  knocked over her orange juice and it got all over her shirt. Her mom got her a new shirt. Then they went to the door. Her mom took her to the car.When her mom got in the car she was soaked, because putting Melody’s wheelchair in the car takes a process. As they were getting ready to leave Melody’s dad closed the door.Melody saw penny run out the door. Melody didn’t want Penny to get hurt. So Melody started screaming and trying to tell her mom that Penny was out there.

 Her mom got mad at Melody. Melody’s mom started putting the keys in the car. Melody tried to take the keys out. She scratched her mom’s hand.  Then Melody’s mom hit her leg. She has never raised her hand on Melody before. Then she put the car in reverse. She slowly started to back up. When suddenly she hears a thump. Melody’s mom looked out the left mirror then she looked out the right mirror. Melody’s dad came out looking for penny. Then Melody’s mom got out of the car. When she saw Penny she started to scream. She screamed louder than the police and ambulance sirens coming around the corner. Melody was scared that Penny would have brain problems. (a few hours later) When Penny got home butterscotch brought all her toys to her room. Melody was so happy Penny is ok.
