POPE’S PORTRAIT FOR THE BODLEIAN.

Mr. Philip Laszlo has presented to the Bodleian Library, Oxford, a portrait of the Pope painted last year by himself [6690]. It shows Pius XI seated in his robes of state. The Pope was formerly a student of the Bodleian Library, and on his election to the Papacy received a message of congratulations from Oxford University.
