18th July, 1929.
Dear Sir,
Mr. de Laszlo has been informed by Mr. Winchester,[1] of the French Gallery, that you are desirous of having a portrait painted of Mrs. Nettlefold in a similar style to that of the Marchioness of Milford Haven [3491] in Mr. de Laszlo’s Exhibition,[2] and that you would like to meet Mr. de Laszlo in order to discuss the matter with him.[3]
Mr. de Laszlo has asked me to let you know that he would be pleased if you and Mrs. Nettlefold could call to see him at his Studio next Tuesday, the 23rd, or Friday, the 26th, between 5 and 6 o’clock, and hopes one of these dates will be convenient to you.[4]
Believe me,
Yours faithfully,
Secretary.
