police registration procedure of inbound student-

Immediate after student’s arrival :- ( for all rye and ngse)

step 1- submit C form in 24 hrs of arrival at your home-

submit this form to commissioner of police office of your area in foreigners registration branch.

not necessary to take student at commissioner office, parents can go alone, take their stamp on our copy. 

for pune area the police commissioner office is near GPO pune camp, at ground floor.

timing - 2pm to 4 pm on monday to friday except holidays

Up load stated documents and get unique ID

Take appointment date of MINIMUM 10 days so as to have time for getting 'residence proof letter'  from your local police station 'PI'

step- 4 

Get your residence proof certified (of host parents) from your area police station PI

 1- your electricity bill , photo id ( of parents )

2- submitted ‘c ‘ form copy

3- passport and visa copy of student

4- photograph of student

5- school bonafide letter copy

6- residence proof form duly filled in

(The PI may demand additional documents sometimes for his satisfaction )

Get PI ( police inspector) availability information by calling to police stAtion.

Take the student with you and Carry all these with originals to the police station so that the PI will issue you the residence proof certificate .

After getting this done you can go with inbound student to FRO at commissioner office.

Important guidelines for online submitting application --

1. Application shall select as MAHARASHTRA & District as PUNE and choose the desired form and then click on submit option. The online application form will be displayed on screen. Read the instructions very carefully and then proceed.

2. Applicant is required to fill the online registration form and schedule his / her appointment in the FRO before his / her visit. Once the application form is filled and submitted (by selecting Save & Continue option), a unique application ID is generated by the system.

3. The applicant is advised to keep the application ID as the same can be further used for any further modifications in the details submitted online and during his / her visit at FRO.

4. Once the appointment is scheduled successfully, a PDF file (filled application) shall be generated by the system. Applicant is required to take the print out of the application form.

5. On the scheduled date, the applicant shall visit the FRO for registration 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm on schedule date. To meet registration officials along with the print of the PDF file (filled application) and the requisite supporting documents and verification certificate from local Police Station. Applicant shall have to produce the supporting documents to the FRO officer to verify with the data already available in the case file.

Instructions:

  1. Photo and Document(s) upload are mandatory.
  2. First use the Online Application Submission option then upload photo and required document(s).
  3. Only one copy of each document type has to be uploaded.
  4. Scanned documents should be in PDF format.
  5. Single supporting document can have multiple PDFs. The maximum size of each PDF should be 200 KB.
  6. Only completely filled application along with photo and document(s) is available for appointment.
  7. Only permanently saved application is available for Re-Printing.
  8. Photo Requirements:
  1. Format - jpg
  2. Size - Maximum 50 KB
  3. Photo should present Full face, front view, eyes open
  4. Center head within frame and present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin
  5. Background should be plain light colored or white background
  6. No shadows on the face or on the background
  7. Bring same photo along with application form.
  8. Upload Photo in passport size (3.5 x 3.5 cm or 3.5 x 4.5 cm)
  1. Appointment rescheduling will be available after 7:00 PM of your appointment day (earlier taken), if you are not able to turn up on appointment date due to some reason.
  2. Only missed appointment case is available for appointment rescheduling.
