Dear Sir

I thank you for your letter.^[1] The matter I referred to^[2] was a “picture” by Mr de Laszlo which is at present exhibited in a window of an obscure cafe next door to the Uxbridge Rd. Station (x Shepherd’s Bush) – it is called the White City Café.

The subject of the picture is an Italian? peasant girl holding a tambourine.^[3] It is I should say an early work & would be to his interest to acquire it.
