Dear Sir
I thank you for your letter.[1] The matter I referred to[2] was a “picture” by Mr de Laszlo which is at present exhibited in a window of an obscure cafe next door to the Uxbridge Rd. Station (x Shepherd’s Bush) – it is called the White City Café.
The subject of the picture is an Italian? peasant girl holding a tambourine.[3] It is I should say an early work & would be to his interest to acquire it.
Yours faithfully,
W. Elstow
