I assisted all technology throughout the district as part of a team of 5 instructional technology specialists and supervised the use of technology at 5 schools. At these schools and for the district, I organized, led, and taught professional development workshops and classes on proper and effective use of technology to meet specific objectives. I helped plan and implement the data team process at the district and lead data team meetings with grade level and content areas to implement the data team process by which the data was collected, analyzed, and instructional strategies were identified that maximized student growth.

2014 - 2015

  • Planned and implemented 1:1 student learning devices in grades 2-9
  • Organized the first Clarke County Area- Georgia Educational Technology Fair
  • Founded Hilsman Middle School Student Geek Squad

During these 25 months I served as both a District Leader and a Zone Leader, which gave me the opportunity to lead and direct the missionary work for three to five districts across multiple cities by ensuring each district established goals and was properly trained. I reported directly to the Mission President each week with analysis of mission work. In the cities of Coronel Fabriciano and Governador Valadares I  formed community outreach programs to foster better employment and lifestyles through education by offering classes in basic computer skills, marketing, language classes, and basic education. In Governador Valadares I organized a community garden in a vacant lot with the aid of community volunteers and we created sustainable crops that fed the less fortunate families in the community.
