Blue Mountain Invitational Fast Pitch Softball Tournament, Ballfields

A true Monticello tradition. Come watch some of the best Fast Pitch teams in the Four Corners area compete for the win! Stop by the ballfields throughout the weekend and check-in on the progress of your favorite team. Don’t forget to turn any softballs you find into concessions for a free Otter Pop!

Team check-in opens at 3:00PM and closes at 4:30PM in the northwest corner of the Ballfield Pavilion. Teams MUST check-in to play at the 5:00PM start.

Pioneer Day Kids Race (1 mile), Loyds Lake starts at 7:45AM

Day of registration opens at 6:00AM.

Race off in Pioneer Day fashion around Monticello’s Loyds Lake in support of the MHS Cross Country team. If you’re lucky you might even spot a Blue Heron!

Pioneer Day Parade. 10 AM Float line-up @ MHS

Come enjoy floats and parade entries representing families, churches, and groups of Monticello and San Juan County. Awards will be presented for the “Best of Show,” “Best of Theme,” “Rocking Family,” “Creative,” and “Best Parade Schwag.” Prizes will be awarded at Veterans Park during the “Vendors in the Park.”

Don’t forget to join in the People’s Vote on Facebook, join the Monticello UT “Pioneer Days 2017” Event and look for the poll https://www.facebook.com/events/1502877426420026/

Parade will start at Monticello High School, head north on Main Street, west on Center Street, and end back at MHS.

Questions or to register on the day of the event look for the Parade Tent on the corner of 200 S and 200 W, please note parade entries must be registered to qualify for awards.

Diving for Prizes, Monticello Swimming Pool

Come support the Monticello Piranhas Swim Team and their annual fundraiser! Jump in and test your diving skills for some sweet prizes. Participants will be broken up into age groups.

Cost is $1 this fee will also cover the cost of the $1 swim from 3-5PM.

Come see the giant green Big 4 Tractor and the workhorse it really is! A symbol of San Juan County’s early years of agriculture, the Big 4 was originally built in 1912.

Presented by the Monticello City Volunteer Fire Dept it is THE firework show of the year! Always a crowd pleaser, this show can be seen from all the rooftops and backyard trampolines in town! Although the best seats are in the ballfields during the Blue Mountain Invitational Final Game.
