NEW TODAY AT RHS

FRESHMAN CANDY ORDER PICKUP TODAY

Pick up for Fannie May candy orders is TODAY (3/24) after school until 4pm in Mrs. Fitzgerald’s room (3143). Please keep in mind the candy can melt very quickly and must be transported indoors as soon as possible. For students attending the Disney trip, please send a parent to retrieve your order. Any orders not picked up by today at 4pm will be available for pick up after spring break.

CHOIR & MADS STUDENTS

All Choir & Madrigals students not attending the Disney trip need to bring their Chromebooks to their choir class today.

VOLLEYBALL MEETING

There will be a volleyball meeting on Thursday, April 6 at 6 pm in the RHS Commons.  New varsity coach Kallie Sinkus will introduce herself to volleyball players and parents and will also review the volleyball summer schedule with the players.

SUMMER PART TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY - RYAA UMPIRES NEEDED

All Rochester 8th - 12th grade students and recent graduates interested in umpiring either baseball or softball during the 2017 RYAA baseball / softball season please go to the RYAA website to complete the online application no later than April 17.  Please direct questions to umpires@ryaasports.org

REF TRIVIA NIGHT - APRIL 28

REF Trivia Night Fundraiser that takes place on April 28 at the Springfield Firefighters Lake Club this year. Please consider purchasing a ticket or putting a table together to help support a foundation that has done so much to benefit our students in the Rochester School District. We are also accepting donations for our silent auction.

Currently 4 Rochester graduates majoring in education are receiving $1000 a year in scholarship money. Along with the scholarships, just in the last 2 years, the foundation has funded in part or all of the following:

SUMMER REC VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you looking for a chance to volunteer?  Do you want to earn service hours?  If you answered "yes" then we have the "gig" for you!!  The Rochester Summer Recreation Program is looking for high school students who have a talent to share with our youth, this summer.  We are looking for ideas to reach all age ranges, interests, and ability levels so please contact Megan Fox and Julie Tinder at Summerreclibrary@gmail.com and we will help you develop your idea and make it happen.
