Seeker of Knowledge
What do you SEE?
(Describe what you see using WOW words)
I saw enormous pyramids. When I looked down, I saw sandy, and some destroyed, figures. They looked like a complex maze. I also saw interesting buildings. The Great Sphinx was ancient and decaying.
What do you THINK?
(As you are experiencing VR tell your audience in detail what you are thinking using sequence words. First, Next, Last)
First, I was thinking about that weird pink thing that I saw and how I saw another weird pink thing that I saw in the Amazon Expedition. Next, I was thinking about a weird red thing that I saw. It might have been a person.
What do you WONDER?
(During your expedition what are you wondering about? What questions come to your mind?)
Why are the queens’ pyramids so small? How do those people manage to build them? Why does The Great Sphinx look like that?

What did you SEE in the Expedition that you can CONNECT to the text?
(Be sure to cite specific examples from the expedition and the text)
I saw pyramids in the Expedition that I can connect to the text because the text was talking about the hieroglyphs on the pyramids. That is what I saw in the Expedition that I can connect to the text.
How do you THINK the Expedition enhanced your understanding of the text?
(Be sure to use evidence from the text to support your response)
I think the Expedition enhanced my understanding of the text because there were only the hieroglyphs in the text, but they were on the pyramids. In the Expedition, I could actually see the enormous pyramids. That is how the Expedition enhanced my understanding of the text.
What do you still WONDER after experiencing the Expedition and reading the text?
(Write a reflection to extend your thinking i.e. What are you still curious about? What more do you want to know?)
What was written on the sides of the pyramids?
