FINA Athlete, Parent/Guardian, and Spectator Code of Conduct
FINA, The Federation of International Ninja Athletics, is committed to providing a competitive, safe, fun, and fair environment for all participants, regardless of geographical location or gym. We want our athletes, parents/guardians, and spectators to share this vision for the sport of ninja. To achieve this goal, we expect our event participants to abide by the following Code of Conduct. For the purposes of this Code of Conduct, “Athlete” refers to ALL ATHLETES who choose to participate in ANY FINA event, “Parent/Guardian” refers all ALL ADULTS who are legally responsible for a named athlete during a competition, and “Spectator” refers to ALL PERSONS who attend a FINA event. Unless specifically noted, this Code of Conduct is in place for the entirety of the season and may be enforced by FINA at any time. This Code of Conduct will automatically renew at the end of the season, unless specifically modified by FINA.
By electronically signing below, Athlete(s), Parents/Guardians, and Spectators agree to abide by this Code of Conduct for the duration of the season. Failure to abide by these terms may result in probation, suspension, or expulsion of the Athlete from participating in current or future FINA events, and/or the removal of the Parent/Guardian or Spectator from the current and future FINA events. The determination of any potential violation of this agreement and subsequent consequence or action shall be solely with the discretion of FINA. FINA reserves the right to remove any athlete from a FINA competition for any reason.
*In the event that a FINA Athlete or Parent/Guardian is involved in a legal situation that may impact the safety (whether real or perceived) of the Athletes, Partner Gyms, or FINA organization, create an undue distraction to the event, competition, or sport of Ninja, or have a potential negative impact on the reputation of FINA, its events, or affiliates, FINA reserves the right to temporarily remove the Athlete or Parent/Guardian from FINA events, without prejudice, until the legal process has fully played out. Once the legal situation has been resolved, adjudicated, or ruled on, FINA will make a final determination on any potential future involvement of the named Athlete or Parent/Guardian in question.
