Topic: The Irregular Migration of Northern African and Arab Refugees Toward Europe Through Dangerous Routes.

Considering  Article 13, point 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states “Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

Acknowledging Article 56, point 1 of the Constitution of The Republic of Poland in Chapter II. Freedoms, Rights, and Obligations from the People and Citizens which states “Foreigners will have the right to asylum in the Republic of Poland in accordance with principles established by law.”

Guided by  Article 56, point 2 of the Constitution of The Republic of Poland in Chapter II. Freedoms, Rights and Obligations from the People and Citizens which states “Foreigners seeking protection from oppression in the Republic of Poland may be granted refugee status in accordance with international treaties to which the Republic of Poland is a party.”

Recognizing Article 13, point 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states “Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.”

Pointing The approved resolution by the General Assembly of the United Nations, point 4 which states “Although refugees and migrants have the same universal human rights and fundamental freedoms, which must be respected, protected and fulfilled at all times, they constitute two different groups that are governed by separate legal frameworks. Only refugees have the right to international protection specifically, defined in international refugee law.”

Aware of The Reform of Refugees and migration from the European Union, Objective 2 in the norms of refuge which states “Provide a fairer and more efficient framework for the registration and processing of refuges applications.”

The Republic of Poland, declare in order to preserve peace and maintain ethical behavior:

  1. Condemns Any type of violation of Human rights for all people, including the people affected in Northern Africa in the dangerous routes, specifically the central mediterranean route;

  1. States The Republic of Poland is going to stick to its migratory laws sated by its constitution and indications of the European Union of the Reform of refugees and migration discussed on the 8 of february 2024 and United Nations about the stances of migration that are applied in Europe;

  1. Express the desire To support any resolution of the Committee of Human Rights which sticks with the respect of the sovereignty of each country present in the session as well as their laws and policies inside the nations and continents.
