When the fez is large enough to fit comfortably on your head, work the next and all subsequent rounds as ch3, hdc around, joining with slst into the 3rd chain. Once the fez has reached your desired height, work a final round in sc (ch1, sc around, joining with slst into 3rd chain). Then simply break your yarn and weave in your ends. Add a black tassel and you are now cool because, as we all know, fezzes are cool.
