Garlic Shrimp (Source: adapted from thermador.com)

Ingredients:

1 pound shrimp (raw)

3 garlic cloves, finely minced

1/2 medium onion chopped

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 half bottle of beer (your favorite kind)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon crushed pepper flakes

Serve with rice or pasta

Directions:

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and olive oil, when heated added in the onion and the garlic. Sauté for 4 minutes until very fragrant.

2. Pour in the beer. Turn the heat to medium high, when the beer begins to bubble add the shrimp. Cover and cook for 4 minutes.

4. Season with salt, pepper and crushed pepper flakes. Serve over rice or pasta.
